"I'll be honest with you Hailey, I don't think one night with you is enough." Harry said as he lay down on the grass next to me.
"Tell you what, I'll show you a different part of the city every night, if you want me to." He added and I had to catch my breath as I registered what he'd said.
In terms of the contract it was a terrible idea. Increasing the chances of us being seen together alone was never going to be a good thing while we were in these fake relationships.
But it helped that we were sneaking away at night and not in broad daylight, and honestly I would be a fool to turn down the offer when my heart was screaming at me to say yes.
"I'd like that very much." I admitted with a shy smile and Harry took my hand and pulled me down onto the ground with him.
He continued to hold my hand and we looked up at the sky, which admittedly was too smoggy to see many stars. It was nice though, just laying there next to Harry, feeling his thumb trace circles over my knuckles as we talked about life.
We stayed there on the grass until the music stopped and the crowd started to disperse.
"I guess we should get going then?" I asked as I sat up and looked around.
"Yeah, can we do one thing first though?" Harry asked and I nodded as I followed him back towards the fountain.
"It might not be lit up anymore but I'd still like a photo." He said and instead of just taking a photo of the fountain he pulled me in for a selfie in front of it with him.
I looked at the screen and matched his sweet smile, wishing I'd thought of the idea myself and wanting a copy of the photo to look back on.
"That's the one catch to this tour guide business, you've got to take a selfie with me every night." He said as he put his phone away and I couldn't think of anything I wanted more.
"I suppose I could agree to that." I said with a laugh.
He took my hand again and we walked along until we reached the metro. This time Harry didn't bother letting go of my hand and we sat down next to each other.
I was very much aware of the people around us and thankfully everyone seemed to be off in their own world, with nobody recognizing us.
It allowed me the freedom to wonder about the possibility of holding Harry's hand in the future, when all of the contract business was over... If that's what Harry wanted too.
If it was even possible with the mess we were in.
We walked back to the hotel and Harry walked me right to my door. I lingered in the doorway and looked up at him.
"Did you want to come in?" I asked with a gulp.
"I'll be a gentlemen for tonight." He said as he took my hand once more and brought it up to his lips.
He kissed my hand and gave me a small smile before walking across the hall to his room.
I watched as he opened the door and walked in, looking my way one final time before closing the door and leaving me standing in my doorway completely lost for words.
It was a lot easier to get to sleep that night, with the thought of Harry on my mind, I was completely relaxed and went to sleep quickly, only hoping that my dreams could match the reality of the night.
The next day the group decided that it was a beach day, except for Lexi who proclaimed that the ocean was "too dirty" and hung out by the hotel pool instead.
From what I could see the ocean was crystal clear and sparkling in the sunlight, and as we lay our towels down on the sand I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. There was nothing I liked more than the thought of a day spent relaxing at the beach.
