I followed Harry off the roof and we walked to the nearest metro. I assumed he had a plan for the night since he seemed determined not to tell me where we were going.

I was happy just walking along next to him and chatting, our arms occasionally brushing against eachother like the first night we had spent together, except this time I knew that there was tension between us, which made it all the more exciting.

I pestered Harry once again about where we were going as we got off the train, apparently having caught the wrong one.

"You know I could help you find it." I tried bargaining with him and he shook his head.

"It's just these bloody Spanish names confusing me." He said and then realised how silly he sounded.

We walked over to a map and Harry soon realised his mistake.

"Shit we were supposed to get off at the last stop and get onto the L1 line." He said as he scratched his head.

"So now I know it's on the L1." I said with confidence.

"Yeah good luck narrowing that down, there's at least 20 stops on there." He said smugly and I looked back at the map to see that he was right.

I didn't bother adding that I didn't know the first thing about Barcelona so even if I knew where we were going I wouldn't know what was there.

We made it onto the L1 and I sat next to Harry, watching as our potential stops narrowed down further.

Eventually we got to the Espanya stop and Harry started to stand up holding out one of his hands as he did so.

I took it even though I knew it wasn't that late at night and I probably shouldn't.

As we walked up the stairs onto the street I saw crowds and crowds of people all heading in one direction. We followed the crowd and I could see we were walking towards the end of the street.

It looked like there was a large fountain at the end of it and the stairs that stretched out onto the hill behind the fountain were all lit up.

"What's happening? Why are all these people here?" I asked Harry as he looked at his watch.

"Shit we're a bit late." He said as he picked up the pace and I struggled to keep up with his long legs.

We pushed through the crowd, Harry doing the pushing and me apologizing to everyone we passed, until we were stood right in front of the fountain.

Harry looked down at his watch again and grinned before rubbing a thumb over my hand and looking at me.

I was thoroughly confused as to what we were all doing there and Harry laughed at me as I tried to work it all out in my head.

Thankfully for me it didn't take long for the show to start.

I heard some music start and the fountain was suddenly lit up and it dawned on me that the fountain was a light show, timed impeccably to the music.

"Welcome to the Magic Fountain." Harry whispered in my ear and I grinned at him before turning my attention back to the fountain.

The music that was currently playing was a Spanish song that I didn't know but the lights were absolutely mesmerizing and we were so close to the fountain that we'd occasionally get splashed by the water.

Harry saw a vendor selling drinks and bought us some ciders that we drank as we watched the show, singing along with the songs that we did know.

"How do they choose the songs?" I asked him and he shrugged.

"I guess whatever is popular at the time."

I suddenly recognized the beginning of a song that I knew very well and I turned to Harry who groaned as he realised what was playing.

We were both young when I first saw you...

"Ugh not Taylor Swift." He said and I turned to him with wide eyes.

"Not a Taylor Swift hater? You do have a flaw!" I said and he laughed.

"On a balcony in summer air." He sang along mockingly.

It was enough for me and I joined in singing until he wasn't really mocking it anymore and actually looked to be enjoying himself.

It might have been the ciders or it might have been the lights but we were suddenly singing along with so much feeling that the people around us had started singing along too.

"Is this in my head I don't know what to think, he knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring..."

Harry being Harry decided to play up and actually knelt to the ground in front of me, picking up a stone off the ground and placing it in his hand making the crowd cheer and sing even louder.

"Marry me Juliet you'll never have to be alone, I love you and that's all I really know."

I laughed as I accepted his fake proposal in front of the crowd and then he picked me up over his shoulder and carried me away from the fountain to the cheers of strangers.

We were both laughing as he put me down on a clear patch of grass away from everyone.

"Probably not the wisest thing to do when one has a fake girlfriend." He pointed out as we sat watching the fountain from a distance.

"Let's just hope nobody in that crowd recognized you." I said with a nervous giggle.

"Even if they did, it was worth it." He said with a smile and I felt my heart start to race.

"Look at you getting all soppy." I teased him and I saw his cheeks start to get red.

"Did you like it though? The fountain?" He asked and tousled his hair, a nervous habit I had discovered.

"I loved it Harry. Thank you." I replied and bit my lip to stop saying anything else that I shouldn't.

Harry looked down at my lips and I watched as he drew in a quick breath before looking away.

"Anyway should I take you back to the hotel now? Back to Simon and all that?" He asked and I knew he was testing the waters, trying to see where I stood.

"I'm happy staying out a bit longer with you." I replied and I swear I could see a sigh of relief from Harry as he turned to face me again.

Biting my lip couldn't stop me from saying the words that were on my mind even though I knew I shouldn't say them.

"I am yours for the night remember."
