Chika had grown to be a fine young teenager. She finally enroll herself to private junior high school nearby. All the people she know slowly dissapearing one by one...

Akihito went to a public junior high, while Chika and Yuka enter the same school. She went to school like any other normal teenager, and today is her second day since she entered junior high school...

And slowly but steady, the innocent fluttering feelings she used to have for the informant rotting...

"Chika-chan!", Yuka called her from the first floor.

Chika was walking aimlessly on the third floor, exploring her first junior high school building in curiosity.

"Yuka-chan, ohayo", Chika replied with a smile.

Yuka soon catch up to her, talking to her as usual. But Yuka knows that Chika is actually sad, for the first time she was seperated from her friend which is Akihito.

They've become best friend in elementary school, but unfortunately he went to a different school.

"Ah, have you made any friends? You know, you're pretty and all, so I bet guys are drooling about you like right now!", Yuka giggled.

"Not really, well I-".

"Come on, don't be shy! You used to be upbeat back then!", Yuka encourage her.

Yuka introduce her to her classmate, well both of them end up in the same class anyway, Class 1-2.

"Hey is that Chika Hinagiku? That girl whose being called the prettiest in the school?", some girls gossiping about her on the way

"I don't think she's that pretty".

"Hey! Watch your mouth! I heard she have a scary bodyguard!".

"Eh!? Who!?".

"You know Shizuo Heiwajima? I've been seeing her around that guy!".

"How in the world she could befriend with a monster?".

Gossip still spreading around the school, she's starting to get tired of it. Chika is a popular girl among guys but sadly she's being dislike by girls due to her...let's just say her physical appearance attract many boys attention.

"Hey Chika-chan, can I ask your cell phone number?", Yuka asked cutely.

Chika was rather surprised with her question. The truth is, she doesn't have a cell phone...since Izaya didn't buy her a cell phone. She just doesn't know what will she do with the cell phone if she had it.

"I don't have it, sorry", Chika smiled.

"Eh? That's too bad, well maybe other times okay?", Yuka grinned.

"She doesn't have a cell phone!? Ew she must be poor!", the gossiping return.

"Yeah, I heard that she lost her parents! Poor her! She lived with her uncle!", the other girl replied.

"I bet her uncle is an asshole hahahaha!! Their life must be so poor!-".

Just before they able to continue their gossip, Chika pushed the one who mention 'her uncle is an asshole' to a window.

"Would you mind repeat what you just said?", Chika smiled reassuringly.

"W-We didn't said anyth-".
