It was the same bustling Ikebukuro town like before. Nothing has changed, neither has the bartender, neither has the three friends, the Dollars, and last but not least is Izaya Orihara himself.
But then again, there's new faces lingering in the town she never met before...

"Hey, I'm bored...let's go grab a bite", Chika begged.
"You're right...I'm extremely bored", Izaya agreed. "But sorry there is a more pressing matter at hands".
"What are you up to?", Chika asked bluntly.
"That is just so mean Chika-chan~", Izaya grinned. "It's none of your concern.
"Oh...okay", Chika pouted.
Chika slumped down on the couch, bored to death. That's when she suddenly had an idea.
"I'll be going out for a bit!", Chika smiled.
"What are you up to?", Izaya asked back.
"Teehee, it's nothing~", Chika grinned and went outside from his penthouse.
Izaya rubbed his temple annoyed when she left. Namie smiled sheepishly from her desk.
"You're one busy man", Namie scoffed.
"Hm", he glared.

Chika stretched her arm open wide, glancing on the sky. It's one pleasant morning. But a certain view, bugged her.
People who called themselves Dollars start to beating other people and claimed that they're part of Dollars.
"I wonder what's wrong...".
She walked around the town aimlessly, watching Izaya favorite humans do their activities. She's confused why would Izaya loves humanity so much, so she decided to stroll around the town, despite the heavy atmosphere.
War between gangs happened more often these days, especially Blue Square and Dollars. But then again, a child like Chika doesn't understand a thing about that.
She seems to oblivious with the dangerous situation in town.
"Hey little girl", a scary looking man in blue clad approached her. "What are you doing alone in here? It's dangerous".
"Eh? I'm just bored I think", Chika backed away, sensing dangerous vibe from him.
This time she didn't carry a switchblade because Izaya stashed it from her.
"Do you want to play with me?".
"Ararara, what are you doing?", a happy go lucky young man approached both of them.
Chika examined him carefully.
"Huh? Who the hell are you?", the man in blue clad growled.
He is an average looking young man with dark blue hair and brown eyes, he wears a blue hoodie and long khaki trousers.
"Bullying kids are lame don't you think?", he smiled arrogantly.
"Screw off brat", the man glared.
The man is about to land a punch, but the young man avoid and kicked him on the stomach.
"Oops, my leg slipped", he smiled.
The man skedaddle from the scene.
"He's probably going to call his backup", the young man said relaxed. "Let's go while we can".
Chika nodded quietly and ran along with him. They arrived on the playground, far away from the previous scene.
"I guess this place is safe", the young man sighed in relief.
Chika didn't utter a word, something about that young man bugs her.
"I'm Aoba, Aoba Kuronuma", he introduced himself. "What about you?".
"Chika Hinagiku", Chika said plainly.
"Can I call you Chika-chan?", he smiled kindly.
Chika nodded, "Sure...".
Aoba oddly smiled deceitfully, "You're no ordinary girl, aren't you?".
Chika backed away scared, "Eh? Err...emm...I'm okay, thank you for helping me".
"I've seen you a lot with Orihara-san, what is your relationship with him?", he throw another question.
Chika for some reason scared of him, she cowered in fear. Aoba Kuronuma reminds her of Kida but in the other hand he looks a lot like Izaya. He is cunning but at the same time cheerful to hide his true persona. Seeing this, she decide not to answer it.
"Where's your parents?", Aoba kneeled.
"They died...", Chika frowned.
"Oh, I...I'm sorry", Aoba bowed apologetically.
"It's okay Aoba onii-chan", Chika smiled brightly. "But I have to go home now, or ojii-san will yell at me".
"Okay, I'll take you home then, just show me where it is", Aoba hold her hand tenderly.
"Umm...okay onii-chan!", Chika said innocently.
On the way to the penthouse, they spotted Izaya whose "pretending" to called his client while looking for Chika.
"Chika-chan! There you are...and...", Izaya turn his gaze to Aoba. "An uninvited guest it seems".
"Hi there", Aoba greeted with somewhat bitter smile.
"Oh it's you", Izaya said unamused. "Thank you for taking her home".
"Sure", Aoba grinned and then he kneeled again. "I'll meet you again sometimes later".
"Uh-huh! Thanks onii-chan!", Chika cupped his cheek.
Izaya face heated up after seeing what she did and Aoba merely surprised.
"Bye bye", Aoba waved.
"See you next time onii-chan!", Chika jumped happily.
When he already no longer in sight, Chika dropped her smile, "That onii-chan looks a lot like you".
"Don't lump me in with him", Izaya frowned.
"Anyways...I like him! I want to meet that onii-chan again!", Chika smiled.
Izaya glared menacingly, "Don't".
"Ehh!? Why? I think he looks fun to toy with!", Chika smiled sheepishly.
"I told you-".
"Or maybe not", Chika stucked her tongue teasingly. "I'm just copying your words when you wanted to control someone".
She hugged Izaya out from the blue, "I don't like hurting people".
Izaya chuckled and stroke her hair, "I know Chika-chan, I know everything about you". He cupped her forehead.
"So don't kiss other guy beside me", Izaya smiled.
Chika blushed madly but only to be interrupted by Izaya.
"Or maybe not", Izaya grinned naughtily. "I was just joking".
Chika puffed her cheek, "Hmph".
Izaya chuckled, "You're the one who start teasing you know".
"I hate you", she pouted.
Izaya grabbed her hand, "Let's go home Chika-chan".
Chika blushed, "O-Okay...".
They went home hand in hand peacefully. While the other mysterious guy watched them from afar.
"Interesting couple", a dark blue haired boy watched from the distance.

So this story is actually occurred after the Blue Square and Dollars arc...but well let's just say this is the side story.
