"Mana...Akashi?", Chika asked while wiping her tears with her sweaty palm.
"That's right", the motherly figure smiled kindly toward her. "Children, say hello to big sister".
There are two childrens, one of them is a little girl with ruby hair and her eyes have The same color as her hair. She stand up confidently, not showing any hesitation and fear like other childrens are when they meet a stranger. While the other one, a boy with a raven hair and onyx eyes eyeing Chika carefully hiding behind her mother back. The boy hair style reminds Chika of someone though...a basketball player.
"I'm Kana Akashi", the little girl shake Chika hand firmly.
Judging from their appearance, they must be twin.
"Maka...", the little boy who act carefully before offer a hand shake. "Maka Akashi".
Chika return to her own self, "I'm Chika Hinagiku! Nice to meet you!".
"Anyway what's wrong? You look lost", Mana asked politely.
"Oh well I was planning to find the nearest department store to buy...girls stuff", Chika blushed. "But I ended up lost".
"Onee-san", Kana tugged her clothes. "You're the same forgetful like mommy".
Chika widened her eyes in schock while Mana start to panic and shush her, "Hey! Don't say rude things to stranger!".
"Wow", Chika thought funnily.
The little girl sure have an eccentric personality, she have sharp tongued, direct, and blunt. The boy was the exact opposite of the girl, he is assertive, observant, and a humble person.
"If you don't mind, I can show you the way", the woman offered.
Chika was thinking about the informant words about going out with stranger, Chika backed away for a bit and keep her distance. But all of the sudden, a small hand grabbed her clothes, it was Kana.
"Come, mom will buy you those things", she tugged on Chika clothes tightly.
Unable to decline a child request, she decide to follow them. Much to her surprise, they lead her to the department store like they promised. Mana even help her choose the correct size. As they spending their time in the department store the sky is turning slightly orange. They finished shopping afterwards.
"Thank you very much!", Chika bowed multiple times. "I'm so sorry to bother you!".
"It's alright, anyway are you new around here?", Mana asked.
"Yes, I'm just staying here for a week with my guardian", Chika nodded.
"Where is your guardian then?", the motherly woman asked worriedly.
Despite her motherly look, she still looks young.
"Umm he's still working", Chika sighed.
The woman pat her shoulder, "So how about joining our dinner?".
* * *
"We're home!", the two kids yelled loudly.
Kana went straight to the living room to play chess while the boy stay close to Mana.
