Pizza night

Masons POV
I don't know how I feel towards kayla. I've only known her about a week and that is a very short time. We only just had our first date two days ago. That was the best night I've had in awhile.

I want another night like that, just me and her. I need to get to know her more.

Im not liking how other girls are treating her at school. I know she can look after herself but I feel like I should protect her.

Thats it, tonight, just me and her. We will have a pizza night, cause I know how much she likes pizza. I wonder why though.

Anyway. I better give her a heads up about tonight.

Last I saw her today was in the kitchen for lunch. She might be in her room.

"Kayla!" No answer. Huh, she must be asleep.

She walked into the kitchen heading towards the fridge. "What?"

Nope, shes awake.

"Pizza night, go pick a movie while I order. What pizza do you want?"

"Ok, and I'll have a cheese and chicken pizza."

When she went into the lounge room, I could see her looking around.

"Next to the tv in the draws!"

"I knew that!"

"Whatever!"

"Shut up"

Aha, just as i thought, cheeky as always.

I had just finished ordering when my phone rang, it was Kevin, my bro.

"Sup man how are ya?"

"Yer I'm fine Kevin, what do you want?"

"Straight to the point huh?"

"Just say what your gonna say or I'm going to hang up."

"Ok ok, gosh. I need somewhere to crash for the night. I heard that mum and dads out. So didn't bother asking them. So what do you say?"

"No"

"What! Why?"

"Because"

"Well too bad."

He hung up on me. Dhat dick...

"Mason?"

"Yer kayla"

"Who's this?"

I walked out of the kitchen to find my brother sitting on the lounge.

"Thats my brother, and what the hell are you doing here kev?"

"Well you know the rules, when mum and dad are gone, this is both our house."

"Damit, why tonight?"

"Look, im sorry if I've interrupted something but I have a meeting tomorrow, and our house is closer that mine."

"Mason its ok he can stay, we will do this another night."

"Yer, listen to the chick."

"She lives here Kevin, so please show some manners."

"Oh so this is the girl, well nice to meet you, I'm Kevin."

"Im kayla. mason I'm gonna go to bed. Night."

"No your not, I'm not going to let him ruin our pizza night. Talking about pizza, here it is now."

I walked towards the door and payed the delivery man his $20, what a rip off.

"Pizza night? Thats the best you could do?"

"Hey! She likes pizza, now are you going to join us or sleep In my room?"

"I will join you two. Jjust no funny business."

"We are just friends, nothing more ok!"

"Boys. calm down, Mason, it looks like your gonna kill someone. Kevin, looks like your gonna get killed. Now what movie do you's wanna watch?"

"A scary one."

"No cause kayla will get scared too easily."

"Mason I will be alright. Now someone please choose a movie. I'm really bad at choosing them."

"Mason, don't worry I will choose it."

"Fine"

Kevin stood up and walked towards kayla. He chose a movie and sat back down while kayla got drinks.

When she came back she sat in the middle of me and kev.

"What movie is it?"

"You'll see."

We ended up watching world war Z. Its not scary but kayla seemed scared. She fell asleep at the end.

I had fun even though my brother was there. he's not that bad, but he is still a jerk.
