All of us had woken up much later than usual. It was fine because the team really deserved their rest. I had done nothing of importance but I was still grateful for the amount of sleep I got. Out of the three girls in the room, Julie had woken up first. Then she woke me and Connie up by dropping her suitcase on accident when she was moving it.

Connie and I slowly got out of bed, not wanting to leave the warmth, "The boys knocked on the door earlier." Julie said, while brushing through her hair.

I tried to rub the sleep from my face, "You have to be more specific, there's like a hundred boys. Which ones."

"Averman and Charlie. They asked if we were going to get breakfast with them."

Connie started to get up at the mention of food, I still didn't care and was ready to get back to sleep. I heard Connie get up from her bed and then lay on top of me, "Connie!" I groaned.

"Get up, we're getting food."

"Can't I just sleep?" I grumbled. Connie got off of me and didn't say anything until she pulled my covers off of me and dragged me out of bed, "Ok, ok. I'm getting up."

I started to get up from my now laying position on the floor, I grabbed my comforter and pulled it over my shoulders as I sat on the ground in front of my suitcase. Someone knocked on the door and I got up to get it. I opened the door to see Kenny and Goldberg in front of our door, "You look awful, Queens."

"Wow, thanks Goldberg. What a thing to say to someone. What do you guys want?"

"We wanted to know if you guys were going to go get food with us." Kenny asked. See I liked Kenny, he was polite and not an asshole. Sweet little kid.

I look back at the girls getting ready behind me, "Give us five minutes and we'll be ready."

"Alright," Kenny smiled widely, "We're gonna wait in our room. Dwayne's gonna come too."

I smiled and closed the door as the duo walked away. I threw my comforter on my bed and changed into a white cropped tank top with some jeans before quickly dutch braiding my hair. I was somehow done getting ready first so I went to Kenny's room. Luis, Dwayne, Kenny, and Goldberg were all laying around and talking to each other.

"Are you coming, Luis?" I asked.

The group looked up at me standing in their doorway, "No, I went to go get food with Charlie and Averman."

I nodded at him as I sat down on the bed closest to me, "Connie and Julie will be here in a second."

"We are here," Connie said from the doorway, "I'm hungry. Can we please go eat." The group all got up and followed Connie down to the cafeteria. I grabbed a blueberry yogurt because it was the only decent flavor left and I followed the group as they sat at a table that already had kids sitting in it.

I sat next to Julie and looked up to see who was at the table. Adam, Dean, and Fulton were there. Everyone started talking and I just started to eat my yogurt. I don't really like blueberry yogurt but I'd rather have it over plain yogurt, "Wren, you're literally like gagging every time you take a bite. You good?"

I look up to see the whole table looking at me after Adam had noticed me, "I don't like mornings and I don't really like yogurt."

"Do you want my granola?" Adam offered.

I look up with an are you shitting me look, "That was an option?"

"Here." Adam reaches over and hands me a small container of granola for my yogurt.

"Right now, you're my favorite person." I say as I mix the granola in.

"See I take offense to that." Goldberg announces from the other side of the table.

I glare at him, "You literally told me I looked awful like 15 minutes ago."

Goldberg shrugged, "Well you did. Just wanted to be honest."

Dean smacked Goldberg on the back of his head, "Hey, don't you know that you never insult a girls appearance? It's like number one rule if you want to stay alive. How do you think I've survived with three sisters."

Everyone laughs at Goldberg and we all keep eating. Eventually we all make our way back up to Goldberg's room again and relax in there.

"Hey, what time is it?"

"It's like 11:25, why?" Kenny asks.

"Shit, I've gotta go." I stand up and start to leave the room.

"Here, I'll go with you." Adam says, he stands up and starts to follow me out of the room.

I turn around and face him, "Uh, actually I'd prefer to do this alone." Adam sits back down and I leave the room, making my way to the rink.

I had been watching the Iceland game for the past hour. The game only had two minutes left on the clock and Iceland was killing the other team. Gunnar was clearly the star player as he had made the majority of the points.

I wasn't sitting close to the Iceland team so even if Gunnar cared enough about me showing up, he wouldn't be able to know that I was here.

I knew being here was probably a diss to the U.S.A. team but hey, I had been invited and I wasn't going to be rude. Besides, watching the Iceland team was much more interesting than I thought it would be.

When the game ended, I waited until the majority of the crowd had disappeared, surprisingly it only took a couple of minutes for the crowd to dissipate. I made my way down to the Iceland bench. Luckily for me, the team was still there, talking to each other and chugging water. I knocked on the glass behind Gunnar.

Gunnar and some of the team turned around to see me, when Gunnar made eye contact with me, his face brightened up and he smiled widely. He left the box and walked next to me, "You came."

"Of course I did. It would be rude to not show up after I was invited by the star player."

Gunnar's face spread into an even redder shade as he blushed. He rubbed the back of his head, "I wouldn't say that I'm the star player."

"Really? Cause you scored most of the points. Besides, you were killer out there. I'm glad I came, actually."

"Gunnar!" Someone called out from the box.

Gunnar turned around to look at someone and held up a finger, saying one more minute, "I was wondering if you wanted to hang out after this."

I frowned slightly, "I would love to...but the U.S.A. game is soon and everyone would be pretty mad if I missed that. I promise that when both of us are free we'll hangout."

Gunnar looked a little disappointed, "That's alright. I'll be holding you to that."

"Gunnar!" The voice called out again.

Gunnar quickly looked back, "Ok, I have to go. I'll see you later." Gunnar entered the box and then was skating on the ice towards the locker room, he turned around to face me again. I waved goodbye at him and he returned the gesture.

A/n

Sorry for not updating for a minute and for the shorter chapter. I was a little busy so I didn't have time to write.

To make up for it though, I'm gonna post two chapters today.

Also, sorry for any errors in my writing. I didn't edit this and I wrote it really quick.
