"You kissed Gunnar? As in Stahl? As in the person we just lost to? That Gunnar, or is there another one that we don't know about?"
I kind of already regretted telling the two girls who were now sitting up on bed and staring at me in shock, "Yeah...that Gunnar."
"I don't know whether to be mad or impressed." Julie states.
"Honestly, me too." Connie agrees.
I look between the two of them, "Now I'm confused. Is this something I shouldn't have done or...like? What?"
Julie runs a hand through her hair, "Well, I mean, he was kind of a jackass when I got into the net. Said some sexist shit. I don't know, it was probably to get on my nerves."
"I'll hit him for that." I say quickly.
Julie laughs, "Well, I mean. It's the game. I hit him back already, anyways. But besides, Gunnar's hot. I don't blame you for kissing him."
"Technically he kissed me, but oh well, minor details."
Connie had been quiet for a moment, I was guessing she was debating whether or not to yell at me in her head. I probably deserved to be yelled at, "What was it like?"
"Haven't you kissed Guy before?" I ask her.
Connie rolls her eyes at me like I'm stupid, "Well, yeah...but I want to know what happened between the two of you. Besides, me and Guy have never had super romantic movie moment kisses. Literally the first time we kissed was after we won the Peewees championship."
I sit up and move to the opposite side of the bed, so there's more room for all of us as I tell them what went down, "Alright, well, long story short, I bumped into him after the fight with Gordon and he was there for me. Which was really nice. He was going to bring me back here but when I said I didn't want to we just went out. We ended up at a park and we kissed. Not really a big deal."
Connie and Julie looked at each other and smiled and then Julie looked back at me, "It was totally a big deal."
I roll my eyes at the two of them, "Oh come on, you're blushing!" Connie tells me.
I put my hands up to my face to cover it, a little embarrassed at my reaction.
"So," Connie starts, "is he a good kisser?"
I throw a pillow at her, "Connie!"
"What? I wanna know!" She throws the pillow back at me.
I bite my lip and smile, "Yes, he's a very good kisser."
"Was there tongue?" Julie asks.
"Ok, now this is going too far." I get off the bed and move away from the two of them, "No more questions."
Julie and Connie laugh at me and I run my hand through my hair, "I told Adam...he didn't take it very well."
"Why would you ever decide to tell Adam that you kissed Gunnar. That's like, one of the top ten stupidest things that you could've done." Connie says, knowing the blonde boy better than I do.
I groan and sit on the floor, my back against the door, "Yeah, well no shit."
"No, I'm serious. How stupid are you?"
I look up at her, "Wow, Connie, you make me feel so good about my decisions in life. I love your little pep talks with me."
Connie glared at me, "Look, as close as you and Adam are, I wouldn't tell him anything about boys. Especially if he already doesn't like them. It'll piss him off...a lot."
I groan, "I know!"
Connie continues, slightly rambling, "One time, I told about something that happened between me and Guy and he got so red and uncomfortable. It was funny; up until he kicked me out of his house. That part wasn't funny. It was really cold that day."
Julie cleared her throat and both of us looked at her, "Not to be that person, but I hate you guys. I've literally never kissed somebody."
I stood up and moved to Julie's side, wrapping my arms around her shoulders, "Want me to kiss you?" I offered, smiling at her.
She shoved my arms off of her, "Get away from me, Queens."
I laughed and sat back down on the bed, "There's a lot of cute guys here. I bet you could get any of them."
"Cute girls too." Connie chimed in.
I nodded my head, "Absolutely, lots of cute girls here. Really overwhelming, actually."
Julie hid her face in her hands, "Ok, I get it."
"Anyways," Connie draws out the word, "Back to Adam. What happened?"
I laid down flat on the bed, my legs dangling off, "Well, it was after bed checks when I got back so I wasn't sure I should even go and talk to him but I was like 'Oh well, he can deal with it' and then when I started talking to him, he was already throwing a ton of attitude at me. Like, I hadn't even told him about Gunnar yet and he was being a little...god I don't even know what to call him."
"Cake-eater?" Julie offers.
"Yeah, I guess that works." Connie laughs at the nickname, "But anyways, when I told him he got all pissy and I was already annoyed so I just left. And then he ran to me and literally held me so I wouldn't move. Which annoyed me even more. Then I just left."
"So he was being a bitch?" Connie asks. I nod my head, "Yeah, well. Doesn't shock me."
I lean my head up a little to look at her, "What do you mean?"
Connie sighs, "Adam is one of the most jealous people I know. He always acts so laid back and chill but he's a raging ball of emotions."
"Why would he be jealous, Connie?"
Connie rubs her face, "That's a talk for another time. I'm tired so I am going to take a nap."
Julie yawns, "Me too."
"Connie!" I exclaim.
"Sleepy time!" And she crawls in her bed, facing away from me.
I throw a pillow at her, "I hate you."
"I know." And then she throws the pillow back at me.
I sigh and get into a comfortable position on my bed, also tired.
