Chapter 10
I finally put the dang door back on its hinges, we always have spare doors in this family I don't know why.
I cleaned the house from any broken glass. I still had Chase's T-shirt, boxers, and slippers on, which he didn't mind, weird. I jumped on the couch and went to Netflix to watch 'A Cinderella Story'. Since I love happy endings, I always cry when the father or mother dies. I felt bad.
After hours watching happy and sappy movies while eating ice cream which now we are out of, "Crap" I said to myself. Ryker and Mother won't be home for a month, or longer I don't know why? It's because it's 'Their Business' they liked calling it.
Buzz, Buzz.
I squeaked, someone's calling me. I looked at the ID it's "Chase."
I mentally rolled my eyes, I answered.
"Angel?" His voice sounded shaky and hurt, I almost felt sorry for him.
"Chase?" I tried my best not to sound upset but failed. I sniffled.
"Are you crying? Who did it? I swear Angel I'll-" I cut him off.
"None, I was crying because I was watching Sappy movies after I cleaned the dang house." I sounded frustrated like I was telling the truth, well part of it is.
"You sure," He asked questionably. I nodded, forgetting that he can't see me.
"Yea," I was shocked at how confident it sounded,
"Okay, well be careful my-" He said before the call dropped. I hit the wall and slid down. I felt tears run down my face but not sodding, well I don't think so. I lifted my knees to my face and let my tears fall and stain my red cheeks.
After thirty minutes I called Levi, which Lilly went home tired and I knew Levi was headed back to Chase's house because I found out, well Lilly told me that because they all acted like one big teen family. Of course, Lilly took over the motherly role, while Levi took the irresponsible fatherly role, which in my point of view, it is true...
"Hey shortie," Levi sounded happy that I called him weird.
"Hey! I ain't- never mind I'm short. Not the point but irrelevant, can we like to go out for pizza tonight? I really would like to know you more, since I heard that you are the 'irresponsible father' role?" I asked as I was still on the floor Indian style. Which is crisscross.
"Yeah sure, I'll call Lilly and tell her," I only giggled at him.
"Aww, responsible boyfriend, I approve." He only giggled before saying,
"HEY! I am a good boyfriend, you're just jealous," This went on for eleven minutes before I heard.
"Who's on the phone, Levi?" Chase's voice was so clear like he was right next to Levi, He said my name and told me he'll pick me up.
I texted Lilly so she'll know he ain't cheating. She texted two seconds flat letting me know that she trusts us.
