Chapter 27

A few weeks after the Battle with Jason, Ryker took on Jason who stabbed him right after Ry shot him. He walked down the stairs and went to find something to help stop the bleeding but failed and broke glass. I had to stay in a cast for two weeks, while my bruises healed over time.
I called over Lily who is now sitting on my bed eating pizza that the boys ordered
"You need to spill everything that happened with you and Chase, cause who am I without info to my Ship." She says after scrolling through her feed.

"Lils, I understand you ship us but he is my first and he'll always be my first secret boyfriend-" before I got to finish my sentence I heard a knock at the door causing me to stop which made Lily throw a pillow at Chase.

Speck of the Devil and he Shall appear. My Devilish God.

"Angel, Could I speak to you?" Chase leaned against my door frame. I nodded my head then looked back at Lilly who was giving me that evil grin.

Great didn't miss that. Note sarcasm.

I got off the bed and walked out of my room, I saw Chase give a sympathetic look to Lilly before closing the door.

"You know you just made my grave six feet under. Thanks." I gave him a playful grin. He leans down and his minty breath reaches my ear sending shivers down my spine.

"Want to join me at my Beach House next week?" He whispers and nibbles my ear, making me forget how to breathe for a moment.

I let out a shaky breath," What about my brother? Halloween?" I asked and also choked on my question I'm dying to ask.

Chase laughed and smiled which made my heart skip a beat, "Your brother already knows that I could protect you more than he could. He couldn't keep up with me in the training which got him in second and I in first. Angel, I want you to join me. For a week then I'll invite everyone the next week. And we're gonna have a late Halloween" He kissed my cheek, making my face beat red.

He chuckled, "You're cute when you blush, Angel." He sent me a wink before heading back downstairs.

I looked down and around debating if I should ask, "Chase wait!" he turned around with an emotionless face that was never directed towards me.

I walked down to him, "What are we?" asking, knowing the answer already. He only chuckled again, dang why does he always have that stupid grin on that cute face of his?

"You, don't remember, huh? Figures." He backed up and headed down the stairs before I could process what the gravy happened to be. I slowly made my way to my room, before my heart tugged... not the feeling someone should never feel when they are in love...

I walked back to my room, opening the door and closing it. Lilly jumped up from the bed and cupped my face with her tiny hands, "Sweetie, what happened?" I looked at her like she was crazy until she brushed her thumbs wiping my tears... Wait! Tears?

Without thinking about it I let out a little sob much louder than ever, I walked to my bed and face planted into my soft pillows.

"He invited me to his Beach House," I mumbled into the pillows, she pushed me over to the side so she could hear me better.

"Speak Hunny," her motherly tone kicked in, I rolled my eyes.

"He invited me to his Beach House, and that's not all. I asked him what we were, the mistake I made. I know I'm a bad human being. He replied 'You, don't remember, huh? Figures' What the hell does that even fucking mean?" I said looking back at Lilly, shock swam in her eyes.

"I never wanted you to meet the person who I really am when I was with Chase, I used to be 24/7 until he left and I stopped using... now I do it when I'm upset or pissed or maybe fucking both." I shook my head and got up from my bed and walked out of my room slamming the door.

I hate how he did this to me.

I walked down the stairs while Lilly ran after me, "Wait Lisa, please listen to me." The guys looked at her then at me with a confused look. I looked around and found my keys where I walked into the kitchen, which were in my bag.

Ran back up the stairs, changed into my sports shorts, Ryker's old torn NBA t-shirt and pulled my hair into a messy bun. Grabbing my black vanes, after that, I walked back downstairs, I looked over the boys drinking.

Wow... He really went down that road. Tsk. Whatever.

"Wow. Do you drink? Low, also don't expect me home, oh and... Chase, I for sure as hell won't ever be happy with you after tonight." With that said, I slammed the front door, walked to my car, started it hearing it roar to life and sped down the road.
