Chapter 29
Chase's Pov

Hours and hours of waiting, pacing and watching Doctors run by. The only thing that's on my mind is My Angel.

Ryker still gives me death stares which does not affect me that much. Lilly was sobbing into Levi's shirt, he gave Lilly his hoodie so she would calm her down a bit, that made her pass out with a smile on her face while Levi shook his head, looking down at her with that spark-

What The Hell is wrong with me?! Nobody has affected me this much. Until I reunited with Angel my... Lisa.

A Doctor came walking up, "Mr. Ryker Adams." He said as he moved his glasses into a new place.

Ryker stood up, we both looked at each other then Ryker choked out the words, "Doctor?" Doc took out his hand and Ryker shook hands.

"Names Mr. Adams, I got off the phone with Mr. Axton here, anyway. Good news, she's awake. She wants to see her brother more than Everyone else. She took most of the blow to her left arm, she has cuts and stitches, she'll be on crutches for a while. She'll be out in a few weeks, No Physical activities just yet." Doctor Adams said, leading Ryker to the room, which was down the hall to the left.

Everyone looked up from their phones and from a sleeping Lilly and stared at me then Ryker then back to me.

"Damnit." I deadpanned while brushing my hair with my hand. Lilly woke up and looked around. "Why, her?!" I said mostly to myself but Levi and Lilly heard. Jack and Char left to go get food and Get well soon cards for Lisa.

"Dude, it's not your fault." Levi lifted his arm up away from Lily to get up and walk over to where I was.

"It is! Levi, did you see how broken she was when she took off! NO! NO you didn't, you were in the Mancave playing COB! You don't know what really fucking happened!" At this point I was yelling. Lilly ran to the other room which I think was Lisa's room.

"This isn't the time and place to yell at me. Follow me." Levi said, I followed without thinking.

We are now in the courtyard of the Hospital. I breathed in and out like Lisa explained to me before Jax's or whoever that one time at CiCi's. "What the hell was that for? Really lashing out in the damn hospital? They think you're insane!" Levi was giving me this motherly pep-talk.

"Oh ok, thanks Mom. I never knew you were my best friend." I said sarcastically.

Levi rolled his eyes, "I feel like I am most of the damn time. Would Lisa approve of this Chase? Think of how Lisa fucking feels about you! She literally showed, and told you how she feels! What did you do? Not-"

"NOTHING! Okay I get it I'm a fucking asshole. More than that." I turned away from Levi. He knew, He always knew.

"I love her alright! I love her. I can't live without her, like you towards Lilly. She's my oxygen. My Sun on my stormy days. Fuck, man I love her! I want her more than anything. She's been mine ever since Middle school."

"Why are you telling me this? When can you tell her yourself?"

"What do you mean-"

As I turned around I saw Levi holding his phone out on a facetime call with Lilly but it was facing towards Lisa.

"L-Lisa?" I choked on air.

"Chase." She crooked her head to the side and threw me that smile which made my heart happy.

Du-dum.

I gave her a choked out laugh and threw one of my games smirks, which slowly made its way into a smile.

Levi looked from the phone and up to me, "You're smiling... I thought I'll never see that smile ever again." With that Ryker moved into the frame and nobbed Levi. I walked over to Levi and smacked him on the arm.

"Bro the Hell was that for?"

"Maken me confess my dying love to you, Ryker.." I walked into the frame of the call. He knew what I was gonna do because he smirked and ended the call.

"She's ready... let's go see her."
