It was approximately a two-hour bus ride to get to Anchuras. Andrés bought his bus ticket with the 20-euro bill Benjamín had put in his lunch bag. He only had 7 euros left, just enough money for a taxi. When he got off the bus, he showed a security guard his mother's address and asked if he knew where it was. The guard went to get a map, took a Sharpie, drew the route Andrés needed to take, and gave him the map. Andrés followed the directions and arrived in front of a small house with a bicycle at the front.

He was about to knock on the door when a little boy with glasses came out from the next house. Andrés looked at him as he crossed the street to sit in the shade. Andrés went to sit next to him and could see that the little boy was very shy; he didn't even want to look at him. There was a small moment of silence between them when the boy asked Andrés, "What are you doing here? Are you lost?" Andrés looked at him.
"I'm here to see my grandparents," Andrés lied.
"Oh well, I'm outside to take some fresh air. Don't tell my mommy I was here; she doesn't like it when I'm outside," the boy said while pushing his glasses up with his fingers.
Confused, Andrés asked, "How come she doesn't like it when you're outside?"
The boy replied, "Because I'm sick, and she's afraid I might get worse."
"Oh..." Andrés paused, looked at the boy, then screamed, "SERGIO?!"
"Wait, how do you know my name?" the boy asked, but Andrés didn't even bother to answer him and hugged him. Something that hadn't happened in a very long time occurred—Andrés felt joy; he was happy; he felt like he was home.
"I can't believe it's you! Hermanito!"
"Hermanito? What are you talking about?" Sergio asked.
Andrés backed away and said, "Oh yes, true, you don't know anything yet. Well... I'm your big brother; my name is Andrés."
"How can you be my brother? If you were my brother, you would live with me and Mommy and Daddy."
"Yeah, well, it's a long story, but I can tell it to you if you want." Sergio nodded yes, and so Andrés explained the fight between his mom and dad, the toy store episode, and the phone call from the hotel. Sergio couldn't believe what he had just heard. He couldn't believe that his mother hadn't told him he had a half-brother, but he didn't make a fuss about it because Andrés was here now with him. Andrés hugged his brother again and said,
"I have something for you!" He gave him the book, and Sergio's eyes widened as he started flipping through it.
"Wow, cool! I didn't know you could make toys with paper!" The two boys looked at the book together, and then a door opened, and a woman said,
"Sergio, there you are, cariño! I was wondering where you we... Oh my god! Andrés!"
Andrés immediately recognized the voice; it was his mother. He looked up and ran toward the woman.
