"You look beautiful my love." I told Y/n hoping she would give me the time of day.

"Thank you." Y/n only replied softly, giving me a small, forced smile.

"I love you." I grew the courage to hug her, pulling her up against my chest placing a sweet kiss on her cheek savoring the feeling of her soft skin I went so long without caressing lovingly. But Y/n only turned her head away before pulling away from me completely.

Her actions shattered my heart into a million pieces, I could remember the time she looked up at me with so much love and adoration. Her kisses would make me feel as if I was the only man her heart desired, like I was the only one in this world she longed for. The only man she loved and lived for.

Her eyes don't sparkle like they used to. What have I done to her? I've broken her, I had to do everything, anything I could to make her eyes shine again.

I could only imagine how she feels and thinks of me now. I had to give her space and only time would tell. I can't believe I had her all to myself, she was all mine and I left her slip through my fingers like that. Any man would be so lucky to have her, why do I have to be such an idiot?

With a heavy sigh I headed for sound check, David had come to visit for a few days. Mick was drinking not really caring how much he was consuming so early for the night. He looked as though he had a lot to say as he stumbled towards me.

"Keith would you forgive me if I somehow, let's say accidentally... slept with Y/n?" Mick asked, the bottle of Jack swung with his arm.

"What kind of fucking question is that of course not you bastard." My jaw clenched as I glared him down.

"Don't you dare take advantage of her vulnerability Mick." I warned keeping a stern face, he knew better.

"Why would I ever do that to her, but if she we the one to come onto me that's another story." He laughed irritating me further.

"Some fucking friend you are." I spat before storming out.

Y/n

I was living in a fantasy, it was only a matter of time before it happened. Before he got wasted and fucked some other girl and moved on. In what universe was Keith not going to make the mistake of cheating on me when there's so many woman throwing themselves at him. It was only a dream, an illusion that it'd be him and I forever in our perfect fantasy world.

To Charlotte, I rode on the bus with Tommy and the rest. I got flowers this morning from Keith once again. I'd get a lot of gifts some more expensive than others from Keith to try and butter me up. I haven't cried all day today, letting my eyes rest, sleep was my only escape from my cruel reality.

Anita was dropping Marlon off with Keith today and since everyone else was so busy I had to pick him up, which I didn't mind at all. I was to look after him when she stopped by to leave him.

"Hey honey why so glum, oh I heard about the news." Anita gave me a sad smile once she noticed my mood after getting out the car.

"They're all the same so full of themselves thinking they're invincible sleeping with whoever they want, those rat bastards but what else can you do but move on with your life and have some fun of your own darling." She smiled brightly lighting up the mood handing Marlon over to me.
