The whole Rahmani villa was decorated with strings of colourful lights, the beautiful flowers were lined up in every corner, and the huge chandelier fixed over the ceiling area was doubling the charm of the adornments. Everyone was rushing inside out in haste, every Indian wedding comes with a bundle of workload, you just can't sit idle if you're related to the bride. You have to be tiptoed the entire day to serve love and courtesy to the mostly uninvited guests, from finding a prospective groom, to fixing their marriage, to sending invites, to making the good arrangements of food, juice, decorative items, gifts, and many more things, to wasting hours in roaming around the market to find outfits according to the functions, to getting a exquisite and heavy bridal lehenga, to searching for a professional make-up artist, but lastly and the most important thing which completes the wedding is when the Father who saw his daughter growing up in front of his eyes gives her hand to the groom, showing utmost trust on a stranger man that he would love his precious princess more than him.
Weddings are such a consequential event in a girl's life, because she doesn't just change her surname, but also bid adieu to her beloved parents, who raised her up with affection and care, they held her hand firmly every-time whenever she stumbled while walking. It's very arduous for her to adapt to the new and different lifestyle...to adjust herself with those people whom she hardly ever saw, or had a conversation with. Marriage is just a normal word, but it contains a pile of responsibilities, problems, adjustments, arguments, pain, and a lot of things which often makes us wonder where our relationship is actually going. But it also has its own charm. If your partner is caring and loving then everything becomes so beautiful, and every difficult road of life seems smooth. There should be honesty, support, concern, affection, fear of losing to one another, and eagerness to talk with each other after having a tiring day, these all make the relationship stronger and everlasting.
Tamanna was sitting on her bed with a lifeless face, she was decked up in a lavish deep red bridal outfit, but she didn't even bother to glance at her beautiful face, she just wanted this wedding to get over as soon as possible. She is tired of pretending to be happy, she is tired of telling everyone that she is excited for her marriage. She can't tell them how badly she wanted to escape out of this mess, she doesn't want to get married with Ruslaan, but she has no other option.
She absent-mindedly looked at the intense shade of her henna, and his name was shining bright in her sweaty palm. She sighed in disappointment, and said - "Sapne me bhi kabhi nahi socha tha ki ek din aisa bhi aayega...jab mere haathon me Azlan ki jagah Ruslaan ka naam likha jayega, Allah ne bhi pata nahi kaunsi aisi ghadi me meri kismat likhi thi, jisme mujhe Azlan ke saamne unke hi chote bhai ki biwi ban kar rehna padega...yeh kaisa suluk hai tera Allah? Aisi maine kya gustakhi ki hai jo uski saza main har pal bhugat rahi hoon...Mujhe bahut bura lagta hai Ruslaan ke liye, woh bechare yahi sochte hai ki mujhe unse pyar hoga, lekin yeh kabhi nahi honewala...mere dil me Azlan ki jagah koi kabhi nahi le sakta hai...main koshish karugi puri ki unko aur unki di hui yaadon ko apni rooh se nikaal doon...par bahut waqt lagega."
Tamanna roughly wiped away her teardrop, as the enthusiastic voice of Mannat echoed in her ear. She softly looked at her, and said while cupping her face - "Masha Allah meri jaan kitni pyari dikh rahi hai."
"Thank You Appi...aap bhi bahut achi dikh rahi." Mannat replied to her with a sweet smile.
"Yeh kya chupa rahi hai aap apne haaton me?" Tamanna asked her with a doubtful face, and the little girl gave her one box of chocolate attached with a beautiful red rose, and one card.
"Wow...yeh kisne diya aapko?" She questioned her, smilingly.
"Ruslaan bhaijaan ne...jab main gate ke wahan Hamid ke saath khel rahi thi tab unhone mujhe yeh diya, aur kaha ki jaldi se aapko de doon." Mannat apprised her with her ever so cute face, and Tamanna slightly nodded, and asked her - "Aur kuch kaha unhone?"
