The moment he confessed his love to her She felt somersault in her heart, something which she never felt in all these years. She couldn't decide which reaction she should give now at his sudden and unexpected confession. The rain was turning even more heavier, and before she could reach any conclusion, she felt his softly rough lips brushing against her delicate ones. But it was only for a second, he didn't actually kiss her, it was just a peck out of impulsiveness and excitement.

"Can I Kiss You?" Ruslaan asked her in a most gentle voice.

"No." Tamanna didn't even take a moment to answer him, and shatter his hope.

He quickly distanced himself from her, and looked at her lovingly. She seemed to be restless about something, perhaps his love confession has left her in a dilemma. He sighed, and assured her with a soft smile - "Please meri baat ka bura mat maan na, mujhe kabhi se tumhe apne dil ke jazbaat batane the...par tumne kabhi mujhe kehne nahi diya, aaj keh chuka hoon toh please ise humare relationship pe affect hone mat dena...warna log pyaar ka izhaar karne se bhi darege, tum mujhse pyaar nahi karti main janta hoon...but kam se kam meri feelings ki izzat karke mujhse muh mat mod lena yeh sab sunne ke baad, main tumhe dilon jaan se chahta hoon Tamanna."

Tamanna looked at him like a kid, clueless, confused, and stressed as well. She was shivering due to the cold breeze of rain touching her skin, and seeing her condition. Ruslaan immediately came forward, and wrapped his hand around her shoulder in concern, he stared at her quivering lips, and asked her - "Thand lag rahi hai kya?"

She slightly nodded her head in yes, and He asked her to sit down on the bike, which was parked under the tree. She looked at him in daze as the rain was too heavy, and slowly it was becoming thundering. How would they go back to their home in such an unsafe situation?

"Yaha nazdeek me koi shelter nahi hai?" Tamanna asked him nervously.

"Dekho meri jaan...na toh main koi hero hoon, aur na hi yahan koi film ki shooting chal rahi hai jo saamne kahi tumhe chatt mil jayegi rehne ke liye...yeh real life hai...aur asal zindagi me jaha bike ya car parked ki ho waha zaruri nahi ki koi na koi rehne ka thikana mil jaye, yaha door...door tak hotel wagera nahi hai...toh ghar wapis chal na hi acha hoga." Ruslaan replied to her with a lopsided smile, and She was impressed by his sharp-witted answer.

"Aap bahut achi baatein karne lage hai humare nikaah ke baad Ruslaan, pehle bhi aise hi pesh aate mujhse toh kasam se aapse mohabbat ho jati." Tamanna thought with a wretched face, and quietly jumped on the back seat of his bike, and her husband stood there, watching his wife's dupatta flying in the invisible air carelessly.

"Agar jane anjane me maine tumhe kuch galat keh diya ho, toh I am sorry." Ruslaan said in a sincere tone, and She assured him with a small smile - "Aapne kuch galat nahi kaha hai, sabko apni dil ki baat kehne ka haq hai...mujhe khushi hai aapne finally himmat juta kar bata diya ki aap mujhse pyaar karte hai."

"Allah ka shukar hai jo tum meri baat samjh gayi...warna main toh yeh soch kar ek pal ke liye ghabra gaya tha ki kahi tum aisa na samjh lo ki yeh ladka toh kabhi mera dost ban kar bhi nahi raha, toh suddenly kaise ise mujhse mohabbat hogayi." Ruslaan said with an innocent smile, and fastened the helmet professionally.

Tamanna silent herself, and tentatively placed her hand on his broad shoulder, and the other hand was busy in keeping the dupatta intact over her shuddering chest. Ruslaan started his bike, and drove it gingerly on the cloudy road, because he didn't want her to experience even a minor accident due to his carelessness and inattentive nature.

God was being merciful today, that is why the heavy rain suddenly disappeared somewhere in the deep sky, and it became easy for him to drive and reach safely to their home.
