The legal driving age in Japan is 18, I am aware of this. But fuck the logic, it should be 16. So it is.
On god. I'm the best. Chika out.
----"Stay in here and don't die." Katsuki said, stepping out of the car so that he could pump gas... As one does when their gas is probably around 5 months old.
He doesn't doubt one of his parents took it out. Rummaging through his things for the key..
And it's not like any dust was accumulated, so that has to be the case.
That didn't matter though, he was just glad there were no gas station attendees he had to deal with..
A little pissed that it was frigid cold out..
Still,
He payed for it and hooked that shit up to get some quality gas.
Standing in the empty parking lot.. you know.
Balls fucking cold.He was glad that soon he was given the signal to put the pump back and did, wondering where that time went as he was staring off into the void of nothingness before him..
But that didn't matter, he put the nozzle back.Opening the car door again and asking, "You want some candy or something?"
Your head snapped in the direction of his voice, his words were like music to your ears. A symphony from the candy gods, and you were uttering in glee, "Yes."
"Can I have.. a chocolate bar."
He nodded, "Snacks?"
"Pringles."
The door was shut, you didn't specify. But come on, as if he doesn't know what flavor of pringles you want?
Pathetic.
You know, he was really making it sound like you were gonna go on a roadtrip.
Especially when he came back out with an abundance of snacks..
Very thought provoking snacks..He walked around back again, bag in hand and got your shoes out of the trunk.
When he sat back in the driver's seat, he tossed them to you."Fuck this shit, we're just gonna eat our feelings."
You put them on, glad at the very least you already had socks.
"Kat, that doesn't sound like a very healthy coping mechanism."He rolled his eyes, pulling out of the gas station and going in the direction of U.A.
It was a bit of a far drive, maybe something like fifteen minutes...Music would do the trick, obviously. So he turned on the radio. Letting it immediately, and a little embarassingly connect to his phone.
"Those idiots are gonna be up." He said, turning the volume down just enough for it to be in the background and not annoying.
You'd forgot it was Saturday.. supposed to be back by Sunday anyways, a little early.
Who cares?By now, the car was nice and toasty warm.. And it was dark out.
You found yourself easing back into the black leather seat, snuggling to it a bit.
You responded shortly, "Party."He could picture it now, the irritating questions.. Curious glances.
Already, he was mad..
Also at his mom's audacity. Which he'd gotten used to at this point.. But by now it seemed a little far.Endless silence for the rest of the drive. He didn't want to talk about it..
Who would? Seething with resentment for his mother at the moment.. and forever. Not even an apology could fix it, and he didn't know what precisely pissed him off most.He didn't care, just parked the car and shut it off.
Your sleepy nature was abruply awoken by this.It was a long walk from the parking lot to the dorms.. a risk he was willing to take.
You didn't want too... But still you gathered yourself up and started that walk with your fucking suitcase.
Annoying as it is...Katsuki felt bad, you were left jacketless...
And he tried not to care, as he always does...
But ended up wrapping and arm around your shoulders while you shivered.
Snow, literal snow. You were thinking, thankful you at least had his arm warmth... And that's all that matters."So.." you said slowly, your breath showing clearly in the air.
"I take it you told your mom."He sighed, hard. Recalling that's precisely what went wrong.
"Yeah, big fucking mistake that was."
"Thought she could help but look were we are."Still, you were left embarrassed..
"I didn't want you to tell her.."Well, at the moment it felt like a good idea.
Usually telling an authoritative figure is the right decision to make, as he is left helpless in these situations.
"I wouldn't have told her if I thought she was gonna ship you off to some abandoned island.""The worst that coulda happened was she wouldn't receive it well, and she didn't. Now we know."
He was pulling the dorm door open, oh so thankful to be met with warm air cascading, gesturing you in first.
And as it appears, you looked more beat to hell and back than you'd originally intended...
Looking absolutely sullen, hair lost it's poof. The whole shabam.Katsuki was right, everyone was in the living room...
Of your friends at least."(Y/n)!" Mina shouted, not wasting anytime to sprint at you and envelope you in a hug.
Nearly tackling you.Katsuki was glad his hair would finally stay back due to the snow falling on him..
But was surprised when he was also greeted in a hug from Eijirou, but not as intense. You were stumbling back, trying to wrap your arms around her.
The girl appeared nearly in tears.
"You didn't say anything, you just left!""I'm sorry.." you said sadly, in a tone Ashido didn't recognize.
She was cupping your cheeks to look at your face.
"God girl.. Had me worried sick."
Well... Still was.
That doesn't just go away, especially with the tiredness wiped on your face, rosy cheeks seemed to have dissapated.
You were being pulled back into that hug again after she couldn't take it anymore.
"Don't ever leave like that again.""God.." was all she uttered, loving the way she held you in her arms.
"And if you ever need to talk, I'm here, okay?"Honestly, she didn't know if it was the time for that.. but you just had to know now.
You nodded, "Okay.."
Never having been really offered that from anyone besides Katsuki.
Perhaps your newfound therapist. She was pulling away, "Seriously. I will drop everything for you."
Kirishima felt like Mina was hogging all the (Y/n) and soon pulled you into a hug too. Tightest one you'd probably ever experienced.
"Yeah, what she said."
He really just felt like hugging the sad out of you... And maybe it wouldn't work, who really knows?
Someone has to try.
You reciprocated well..After Aizawa announced your absence to the class and why precisely that is... Everyone was left worried, seriously.
That and also a bit of confusion..."Get your god damn paws off her, I think she's been through enough."
Katsuki grumbled, as he always will.
Gently prying his best friend away from you."Fucking hungry."
Now.. he was just walking towards the kitchen and hoping there would be something good to make.Leaving you surrounded by classmates and questions...
The most common one, 'Are you okay!?'To which you responded with a smile and a wave, "Oh yeah, I'm doing fine."
"Mr. Aizawa told us you went to Bakugo's house."
Kaminari said, as if you didn't know... Or like he wanted to confirm if this was true."Yeah it was fun-"
"Do you feel better now?" Mina asked.
You didn't know, kind of nervous as you replied, "Well I mean-"
"Of course she feels better, she's back!" Kaminari argued pushing the girl softly.
Upon Katsuki finding no real food he wanted, he came back to see you getting hounded.
Barking,
"Jesus Christ, lay off will ya!?"
