JENNIE-

"Jen." Jisoo called out and my heart almost ripped out my chest at that very moment.

"Jisoo..how long were you standing there?" I asked uneasily, fiddling with my fingers watching as she walked closer to me. "Enough to know that you still have a thing for Lisa. Look, why don't you just be with her?" Jisoo looked at me intently, grabbing both sides of my shoulder with a pitied look. She embraced me into a hug and I don't know what happened but the next thing I knew, we were both on the ground with me crying into her shoulder.

"I can't Chu, we're both in a relationship. I hate it so much, all I do is ever think what if this or what if that. I'm sick of it. I want Lisa. There I said it, but how will I ever get that. I'm too late...she's moved on and changed for the better. Maybe I should just leave her life completely and let her be happy with the person she loves." I sniffed, looking up to see Jisoo frowning at me. I froze in my place as she grabbed my hand to lift me up from the ground. I stood up after a few seconds and we both started walking down the hall way, continuing our talk.

"Jennie, i'm going to say this once and it's up to you whether you follow my advice or not." She started off before opening the door to the main building. "You like Lisa, I can tell that she still has feelings for you. You either man up and take what's yours, or fucking suck it up and keep hurting and doubting yourself." Jisoo said in full annoyance. If I was her, I would've been annoyed too. We've been playing these silly games for years now and she's right. It's time I get what I want, no more sitting around waiting.

"You're right. I should just get Lisa. But.." I stopped as Jisoo looked at me carefully for my next words. "What about Tae? I still love him." I frowned, feeling tears build up again at the realization that this situation only gets worse. "You don't love him. If you did, would you be going through this right now?" Jisoo asked me and I shook my head. "Exactly, go get your girl and break things off with him. If Lisa is something you really want then stop letting these obstacles stop you. Talk to her, see what she wants and if you think you're ready to commit to her then go for it. You got this." She encouraged and I embraced her with a passionate hug. We stood like that for about 15 seconds before I decided to let go.

"Thank you Jisoo. I love you." I say with a bright smile on my face, happy that I finally figured everything out. "Of course, Jen. Good luck." She says before heading to class.

I walked off to my next class, thinking of ways that I can break things off with Taehyung. I opened the door to my classroom to see him look up to meet my eye and immediately drop it down. I raised my eyebrow at his behavior and sat next to him with a small smile. "What's going on with you?" I asked as I grabbed his hands into mine. He swiftly removed them, pretending he was scratching his face before turning towards the front. I frowned and turned the same way before he broke the silence that was tensely surrounding us.

"So you and Lisa huh?" He asked me and my heart dropped to the pit of my stomach. He laughed at my shocked expression before answering his own question. "Look Jen, I knew there was something going on with you and her and to be honest I wouldn't lie and say that it hasn't been bothering me lately. I chose to ignore it thinking it was just me but after I saw you two in the hall way I already knew that I lost. I've been preparing myself for all of this so it's okay if you want to break up. If she's really what you want then go for it. Don't let anything get in your way, I just want you to be happy." He encouraged through a small frown, I didn't want us to end this way but since he knows what's the point in continuing?

"I'm sorry Taehyung, I didn't mean for us to end like this." I say, watching as he looks at me intently. I wasn't happy that he found out this way but I was relieved I didn't have to deliver any bad news first.

"Ah, don't worry about me. Just follow your heart ok? We had plenty of great years and i'm sorry I couldn't be the one you want."

"I'm sorry, Tae. I can give you space but can we at least be friends at some point?" I ask in a pitiful voice. He nods his head at my question and kisses me on my lips one last time before embracing me into a hug. I hugged him back but with greater force and the heavy feeling of guilt i've been feeling for months finally went away. I was contented and relieved in that moment. I was happy.

LISA-

"Hey babe." Rosè called out to me and I turned my head to give her a short kiss. It was now lunch time and we walked through the halls to catch our normal table with our friends. I glanced at Jennie who was smiling brightly and the sighting of this reflected one on mine.

Rosè and I both sat down at the same time before I switched places to sit in front of Jennie as well. We both smiled at each other before I turned towards my girlfriend and called out her name. She turned to me with an annoyed face, noticing me switching my position but didn't mutter anything about it. "Yes love?" She asked me and I stood up, grabbing Jennie's hand before turning back to her.

"Jennie asked if I can tutor her if it's alright with you?" I pleaded silently and watched my girlfriend think hard about this decision. She nodded her head hesitantly and I smiled, letting go of the brunette's hand. I glanced at her and her face was bashfully red and I smirked glad that I still have that affect on her. I sat back down, pulling my girlfriend in for a hug and placing small kisses along her face.

After a few minutes, Jisoo sat with us and I noticed that Taehyung wasn't also here with us. "Where's your boyfriend?" I asked, my voice coming out harsher than I intended to. Jennie looked taken aback by this question before placing her fork down and meeting her eye with mine. "We broke up today." She deadpanned and my face turned pale white.

"Are you okay? Do you need me to come over after school?" I suggested and she hesitated looking at Rosè and then to me, letting her guard down. "No it's okay, I know Chae wouldn't like that." She harshly said and my girlfriend nodded her head, silently taking glances at me letting me know I should've chose my words correctly.

"Come on Chae, Jen is hurting and as a friend I should comfort her." I argued and Rosè looked completely taken aback by my words. "She has Jisoo. You have me. What is there more to discuss?"

"Why have you been acting like this? We were fine before but ever since we returned to school you've been completely ignorant and selfish." I blurted out and at that moment I wanted to get on my hands and knees to beg for forgiveness. She looked at me with an irritated face and stood up from the table to move somewhere else. I followed her with my eyes and watched as she went up to a random stranger and introduced herself.

Her hands were rubbing on the other girl soothingly and she played with the other's hair as she smiled at ever word that came out her mouth. The random girl just blushed at the compliments my girlfriend were throwing at her and I clenched my fist, knowing exactly what she was doing before turning to Jennie and smirking. "Expect me there tonight." I say before walking off into the other direction, leaving my tray of food.
