Octavia's POV
Luke pulled me out of the room and immediately started grilling me.
"Octavia please tell me this isn't what I'm thinking it is," Luke said, anger and concern lacing his voice.
"What Luke? Please tell me you don't believe dumb and dumber in there."
I furrow my brows as he stays silent, I know he doesn't know what to believe but the fact that he looks guilty makes me upset
"Do you seriously think that low of me?" I pull myself back.
"No, I- of course not- I- I just, I know how you feel about Cal, and I know the way he is with girls, I just... I don't want you to become one of them." He says, concerns lacing his voice.
But me being the stubborn dumb bitch I am, I respond with "One of his whores? Are you comparing me to the girls he sleeps with? Luke... Calum and I can be friends if we wanted to, you of all people should know I would never sleep with him."
I leave Luke dumbfounded outside of the room. The entire session was tense, I hardly made any conversation with the boys, there was no playful banter, there were no jokes made, but weirdly there were no scuffs, no eye rolls, no attitude from Calum.
By the time the session was over, I had been the first one to leave, booking it for the door and getting into the elevator alone.
The atmosphere felt completely different. Usually, after sessions, we pick someone's place and continue trying to write, but today I was going to my apartment to wallow in my anger.
Maybe I should call Araya.
She's been super busy lately with studying for midterms and finals for certain classes. I'm extremely proud of her. She works her ass off, I couldn't imagine life without her.
I met her during my sophomore year of college. She was a freshman and had been put in classes. She has always been above her grade average. She may look like a dumb blonde but that girl can kick some ass. Her parents always encouraged her to try her best and be better than her peers.
Araya's parents had become like mine over the years. They were very supportive of anything we chose to do. They knew my story, and even helped pay for my lawyer.
As I thought about Stella my phone rang. It was the same unknown number. I decided to ignore it this time, throwing my phone on the other side of the couch.
I huff out a breath and run my fingers through my hair, I stand up and decide to make some popcorn.
Araya had a free day today so after a couple of hours of not paying attention to movies I put on, we were tangled in a mess of blankets and pillows.
"He thought that?" she asked in shock.
"I don't think so, but the way it came out was like he was insinuating it. I feel like I should apologize to him." I admit telling her about
Luke. After some time, I had really thought about what happened between me and Luke. I think I was overreacting just a little bit. I can't stay mad at the blond boy for long.
"You should call him," Araya suggested, knowing Luke and I would be able to resolve this in a matter of seconds.
The second I pull my phone out there's a knock on my door. I furrow my brows and lift from the couch to see who it is.
I see a man with a pizza and wine in his hand. I quickly open the door to confront the man.
"Can I help you?" I asked, the door just barely cracked.
