Ryder's POV:
After Mandy had hung up on me, I had another call from Luke coming in.
"Hey," I answer.
"So, how was it?" Luke says, merely curious.
"Luke. I really do not want to talk about it."
He chuckles. "I guess I could just call her and ask her about it. I know we are getting ice cream tomorrow night; maybe I could just push it forward to tonight."
"Luke, aren't you busy tomorrow?"
He laughs again at me. "Tomorrow? I'm guessing I won't be busy. Or are you going to waste everyone's time tomorrow?"
"Has anyone told you, you are annoying?"
"Maybe. I guess I'll just wait to talk to Ren tomorrow about it. Later." He clicks off before telling him not to call her and just let me figure some things out.
I arrive at the party twenty minutes late, I declined every call that came in from Josh.
"About time," he puffs out; he looks furious with me. This was not something he wanted to do.
"I was busy," I say, walking over to the bar to order a drink.
"Busy?" Josh asks me, his eyebrows raising. "Busy with what?"
"Not now..." I had too much to think about and it was going to be too hard to think about everything with Josh and his friends all over the place.
