"The security for this place is pretty simple." Agent green started to explain while you waited for the president's return from negotiations. "The building has an easy layout allowing for efficient resort access from different levels. Most hallways have a swivel camera with a ten second turning mechanism with a few blind spots, but they're not too bad. However, I can't find anything for the elevators. Either the resort doesn't have cameras for them or my guess is that the First Order disabled them."

A lump was forming in your throat at the mention of the elevators. Your skin was still on fire from Kylo's touch. "Good to know. What about the perimeter? Access from the lake?" You ask scanning across the different screens of surveillance footage.

"The resort has their own security and the lake access is on private property so only guests have access." Green explained easily.

"Okay. Has Solo checked in yet? Any news from the shipping docks?" You looked over towards Rose who was too focused on whatever she was programming at the moment.

"Uhm nothing new. They are still just keeping an eye out." She says still typing away. "You can actually see the docks from the window. Go check."

Walking over to the large ceiling to floor window in Rose's room. Just like she said you could see the docks from a stretched distance. Squinting your eyes you see big crate boxes stacked on the edge of the dock with ant-like figures walking around. That has to be the rhydonium, you thought. Thinking the view through you realized that you would be able to get a better view from one of the balconies from the east side of the building. Which was a perfect eye shot from the resort's ballroom where festivities were to be held tomorrow. Interesting tidbit.

Suddenly a quick rapping was coming through the hotel room door. Both you and Rose turned your attention quickly. Another round of knocking filled the air while Rose hopped up to check the peephole. Quickly she opened it to reveal President Organa. It had been almost 3 hours since you were kicked out of negotiations. The look on her face told you everything that you needed to know. She was not happy with you.

Leia walked in closing the door behind her leaving two bodyguards to man the hallway. She took a couple steps looking over agent greens surveillance setup. With a monotone straightforward tone, "report green?"

Rose nodded her head leaning over to tap a couple more keys on her laptop. "Yes ma'am, just one moment I'll have one ready." A whirl of air started to push through the wireless printer preparing Rose's report.

A silent tension radiated off of her, like she had something to say but was holding off. You watched her body language, the way she crossed her arms, turned her back towards you, lack of eye contact. She was not happy with you.

Taking a deep breath you say, "I'm sorry madam Presid.."

"No, you had one job and you let him get to you." She cut you off with irritation rolling off her tongue.

"I couldn't just sit there and play games. The truth needed to be said." You tried to reason.

"That was exactly why you were assigned this mission, Red!" Her eyes pierced through you with disappointment. That inadequate feeling rolled through you again. "You told me you could handle this. You told me you were prepared. Instead I had to sit by and watch a pissing contest when you were there representing the new republic."

Awe there it was the truth. It wasn't that you were going against the grain, but it was because you didn't fit inside her perfect moldable little box. You rolled your eyes feeling anger start to fester. "Like I said I'm very sorry."
