Kylo was stranded in Ord Mantell for 17 more hours. He maneuvered out of the Black Sun's building unscathed, able to pickpocket some essential items from guards on the way out. These items consisted of a utility knife, a long range walkie talkie, and some loose change.
It took Kylo a while to find any source of life after leaving the war torn abandoned city sector Maul was residing in. He was able to hotwire one of the vans that brought them here. It was late, darkness was casting over the deep mountains as he drove. The only thing keeping him sane at the moment was the thought of his Angel safe. Even if you were surrounded by the people who betrayed him. You would be safe. At least for now.
Finally he came across some little run down pit stop area. He really couldn't go any farther the van was running on fumes for the last couple of miles anyways. Stumbling out he finally registered the pain radiating from his side. He looked down seeing there was a slight pink tinge slowly spreading across his shirt. He must have busted open his bandages at some point without realizing. His whole body started to give in. His face felt like a ten pound weight attached to his head. Aches and pains fueled by pure exhaustion and frustration at the whole situation. Kylo though could only focus on the way your face scrunched in disbelief and pain when he told Rey to take you away. It was starting to slowly make him lose his mind.
He sluggishly walked into a dingy hole in the wall bar. Taking it all in he scanned the room and found a payphone against the back wall and that's where he set his focus. Passing a few patrons who watched him out of the corner of their eyes. Kylo reached the phone and tugged on the box on the wall till it came loose. He grabbed some wires and plucked the utility knife out of his pocket. Snipping a few and rewiring a couple other ones with the wires from the long range walkie talkie. He put in a few coins and dialed a number. Holding the receiver to his ear he heard it ring and ring and ring until that modulated voice came through.
You are calling the First Order government headquarters. If you are in need of a specific service please punch in the service code and we will connect you as quickly as possible. Thank you.
Kylo grumbled and punched in the long series of digits and it started to ring again.
Welcome to extraction services. Your request is being processed please hold to be connected to a representative.
He grumbled loudly in irritation and pain, "fuck."
"Hello, you are speaking with a First order representative. Please stay on the line so we can trace your call. Who is asking for extraction?"
"It's Supreme Agent Ren requesting immediate extraction."
"Oh yes Agent Ren, right away. How many will be extracted?"
"What kind of fucking question is that? Just me." he did not have the patience for this.
"Yes sir, we were just informed from higher up you might have another agent with you."
At the thought of it he wished he did. He wished he was bringing you back with him. Turning your back against hypocrisy and disloyalty. It started to remind him of Snoke's threat of dealing with you if he couldn't turn you. Kylo couldn't wrap his mind around any of this at the moment his side started burning in pain the longer he stood there. He grumbled a low angry growl, "no, bring a fucking medic."
"Yes sir."
Kylo slammed the receiver down and ripped the wires he just spliced together out. Grabbing the utility knife he slowly and sluggishly strode over towards the bar. He climbed into a stool and grabbed his side as it tingled. The bartender stepped up asking warily of the dark and dangerous looking stranger, "Can I get you a drink?"
