eighteen.

Caterina's pov:

I wake up with Lia in my arms.
Suddenly i smile remembering our conversation of yesterday. She wants me to adopt her. To have custody of her.

I never knew that a teenage girl can make me happy like that.

I opened my phone and realized that it's 11am. Damnn we slept pretty late today.

I decided that today, we should go take a walk and maybe go on a ferry boat.

"Lia sweetie wake up." I said gently shaking her up.

She just shrugged and got back into the covers.

"Lia sweetie." I said almost laughing at her reaction.

"I don't want to, i am too comfortable." She said cuddling into me.

"I have something plan for today, now please get up. You need to take a shower." I said.

She then suddenly sit up.

"Wait are you saying that i stink???" She asked me sarcastically.

"Yes but really you need a shower, it's good for the feeling to be refreshed." I said laughing.

"God i thought you were different then Amelia, But you are just like your character." She said laughing too.

"I know people says that too. Ok now really get up and go in the shower while i make breakfast." I said getting off the bed.

"Yes yes mom don't worry." She said as a joke while rolling her eyes.

I know she called me mom as a joke but to be honest it melted my heart. I stare at her for a couple of minutes before she speaks.

"What?" She asked.

"Nothing hun, imma go make pancakes if that's okay with you?" I asked her smiling.

"Yes it issss." She said.

"Okay then." I said kissing her head and get out of the room.

Lia's pov:

I made my way to my bag and grab my favorite hoodie and some sweetpants and got into the bathroom that is in my room.

For once in a while, i have slept through an entire night. It felt good sleeping again.

As i get out of my clothes, i noticed that my scars faded away. Don't mind me but we all know that when the scars fade away, it tempt us to relapse again. I quickly put that idea away and go into the shower. The hot water against my skin made me feel good. I haven't got a shower for the last 6days since the last one i took was when i got here before i went to Chyler's.

20 minutes later and i'm out of the shower.
I put on my clothes and decided to put my hair in two braids. My hair are kinda short so it's kinda difficult but i finally got it. it was 9:45 when i went downstairs to the beautiful smell of pancakes.

"Hey you're finished!" Cat said handing me a plates of pancakes.

I eat it like there was no tomorrow and i think Cat noticed it since she said "Slow down or you're gonna choke."

"Oops yeh sorry." I laughed

"Okay anyway, today i decided we would go on a walk and then on a ferry boat." She said.

We ate in a comfortable silence until we finished eating and putting our plates in the sink.

It was now 11am when we decided to leave.
