(A/N: Celebrían, Lord Elrond's wife, is in this chapter. I know she was captured by orcs and then died after they rescued her because it was too much or whatever, but I believe it makes the chapter a little more dramatic.)

The Dwarves Third Person POV:

They heard what sounded like the ripping of cloth followed by the roar of a dragon as they waited in the tunnel.

"Gandalf, what is that?" Thorin said lowly.

"It is a dragon, and a rather angry one at that," said Gandalf, trying to brush off his question. Trying.

"Gandalf-"

"Oh all right," huffed the wizard. "I guess it's about time you know anyway-"

"Know what?"

"If you'd let me talk, then maybe you would find out," said Gandalf smartly. "There was once a skin-changer girl. A rather curious girl at that. One day, she ventured into the ruins of Dale, believing that it was deserted and the dragon Smaug was deep inside his mountain. But she was wrong. As she inspected the disaster, the retched beast landed behind her. He taunted her, knowing she could do nothing. I do not know all the details, for she was too distraught to divulge them to me. All I can say is she was cursed, and she ran to the edges of Mirkwood, where she transformed into a large blue dragon with great agony. The elves of Mirkwood helped her the best they could, but she had to learn to fight herself, by herself. Moon's life was in tatters, and she is waiting for us down this path."

"What do you mean?" snapped Thorin.

"I mean exactly what I said," said Gandalf.

"Moon's the dragon?"

"That would explain her eyes."

"Why didn't she tell us?"

"If you were her, would you tell us?"

"I'm so confused."

"How is that even possible?"

"Are you sure about this?"

"Shouldn't we be helping her out there?"

"She's a monster!"

"She's the same person she ever was!"

"How can we be sure she isn't a demon?"

"You heard Gandalf, she was normal until she was cursed!"

"SHAZARA!" yelled Thorin, sending the rambling company into silence. "She has betrayed us. If she returns, she will not come with us."

"Thorin, be reasonable-" Gandalf began.

"I will not be reasonable with liars!" he shouted. Gandalf put a hand on his hip huffily before leading them down The Hidden Pass.

The dwarves closed into a tight circle as the elves horses circled them, two rows deep.

The majority of them nearly dropped their weapons at the sight of the limp girl upon Lord Elrond's steed. Arrows stuck out at random places of her body, deeply imbedded. Light blue wings sprouted from her back, but one was bent and crumpled while the other was dripping blood and in shreds. Her long blonde hair was thick with mud and blood and her face was smudged with the same substances.

"Father, what happened?" asked Elladan and Elrohir worriedly, who were Lord Elrond's twin sons.

"She was trying to save the dwarves. Take to heal her. Quickly, now!"

The twins slid Moon off the horse and Elladan cradled her while Elrohir tried to straighten out her bent wing.

They rushed away and Thorin growled,"Where are you taking her?"
