Lucy opened the door and stepped inside, seeing her lover wrapped up in a blanket like a burrito, except his head was underneath the blanket, so he was out of her view.
"Natsu? Are you in there?" The celestial wizard asked, pulling back the blanket to reveal a very sick looking Natsu. He was covered in a light sweat and had a slightly red forehead.
"Mhnnn." The pinkette quietly groaned in discomfort, trying to pull back the blankets.
"Oh my Mavis! Natsu you look horrible!" Lucy said, shocked.
The fire wizard chuckled.
"Well dang, that kinda hurts." Natsu's voice was raspy and tired, though he cracked a small smile at his remark.
"Wait no! I didn't-" Lucy sighed with slight frustration. "You know I didn't mean that! Now open your mouth, I'm gonna take your temperature." Natsu opened his mouth and Lucy stuck the device in.
"Bite down please, and hold the end part under your tongue."

I bit down and held the stick under my tongue. After Roughly 30 seconds, the thermometer started making a horrible beeping noise, high pitched and annoying. It probably doesn't sound that bad to Luce, but when you have dragon hearing and a splitting head ache, its enough to make you go insane. She took out the stick and read it, biting her lip in worriedness.
"Natsu, what does your temperature usually run at?" She asked, setting the thermometer down and grabbing a plate. Wait, did she cook me food?! Aw yeah! It looks like pancakes, whoo! Lucy has the best cooking, but there wasn't any for her? There was only one plate, and I assumed it was for me.
"Uh....110 I think." I replied, internally drooling at the sight of the pancakes.
"Hey who did you make those pancakes for?" I hopefully asked. She ignored my comment completely and rushed down stairs, returning a couple minutes later with a cold, wet rag and a bowl filled with water and cold ice.
"Are you gonna pour that on me?" I asked nervously while Luce exchanged the bowl and rag for the plate of pancakes. She gave me a look that said 'Are you serious?'
"What?! Of course not, I'm gonna dampen the rag and rest it on your forehead!" Lucy handed me the plate and then grabbed the white rag, dipping it in the icy cold water. She took it out and lightly twisted it, letting some of the water drip down into the bowl.
"Eat up, you'll need energy." Luce smiled and brushed a few lose strands of hair out of my face, then placed the rag. A shiver ran down my spine, it was cold! After a little the cold lessened and became bearable.

WOWIE THAT'S A GREAT WAY TO LEAVE OFF-
But seriously, to anybody who is reading this, I am so so sorry. I'm a great procrastinator, and I put off writing this for a long time because I have writers block. But I'm back, and I will hopefully be writing more. Thank you and stay safe.<3
