Dragon Slayer Mating Season (DSMS) is an
cycle in which Dragon slayers go out and find their mates. It is not to be confused with Dragon Mating Season, as DMS is much more calm and very passive.  Different kinds of Slayers have different cycles, and they all vary in size and extremity. Fire Dragon Slayers have one of the most intense Mating Season of all Slayers. The stages for their mating season may last up to 2 weeks and are listed below.

[STAGE 1] ALOOFNESS
The Slayer will try to distance itself from everyone, friends, family, and even their mate. If they have not distanced themselves properly by the 3rd day, they will become extremely aggressive. This is because the slayer is in lots of pain. The slayer will constantly be gaining magic power as the season goes on, this is to protect their mate. They need to spend the week regulating this power before retrieving their mate and going back to where they have decided their 'nest' for the season will be. In addition, the mate will have Wet Dreams along with Nightmares about their slayer. The Wet Dreams are pretty self-explanatory, basicly just dreaming about the mating process. However, some mates may not get the Wet Dreams, and will instead get Nightmares about their Slayer/Mate. These Nightmares would go along the lines of their Slayer/Mate leaving them, or their Slayer/Mate dying, ect. The Slayers will also have dreams. Its the opposite of what the Mate has. So if the Mate has Wet Dreams, then the Slayer will have the Nightmares

[STAGE 2] OVER PROTECTIVENESS
During the Stage the Dragon slayer will become extremely protective of their mate. They will want to be around their mate all the time, and will protect their mate at any cost. The Slayer is also really emotional at this stage, so try not to say anything like "I hate you!" Because they will take it seriously and may become depressed. Also during this time they will have a complete personality change that could last for the rest of the season. For example, if the Slayer was angry and impatient, they may become easy-going and patient. Its never the same between Slayers. They will try to keep their Mate at the nest, to protect them from any danger. The Mate will go through their own form of aloofness, but only towards the Slayer. They might Ignore them, or ask not to be touched, you get it. The Slayers are naturally displeased with this and will try to get their Mates attention anyway possible.

[STAGE 3] AFFECTIONATE
During this stage the slayer will be physically affectionate, and will want to cuddle or hold the Mate all day. If said Mate is out in public, the Slayer will hold hands, carry the Mate, or something like that. They will always want to be around and touching their mate. DO NOT LET ANYBODY ELSE TOUCH THE MATE! If the Slayer sees anyone touch or God Forbid some poor soul flirts with the Mate, yhe Slayer will hurt said person, maybe worse. You should not confuse the Physically Affectionate stage with the Sexual Affectionate, as during this stage they just want to hold you, no sexual needs or intentions.

[STAGE 4] Jealousy.
Aaaand here is where it starts getting bad. The other stages should have been pretty easy and chill,(expect for maybe the affectionate stage) but stage 4 is where everything gets serious. The slayer will be extremely jealous of anything that has their mates attention, including inanimate objects, such as books. The slayer will try to divert the mates attention to themselves, but they are usually unsuccessful. This can lead to the slayer pushing what ever has their attention way. The clingy effects from the last stage are still prominent in Stage 4. If a person has their mates attention, their jealousy increases 5x. They might drag the mate away, snap at the person, or even challenge them to a fight, as they feel the person is trying to challenge them for their mate. These fights can get deadly, but their are rules set down before fighting. These rules can be set down by the mate, so they may say "Your not allowed to cause serious injury's or kill your opponent!" Or "The fight will last until one of you in knocked out." And those are the rules of the fight.
Sometimes, another dragon slayer may be in heat, if they are 21 and have not met their mate yet. This is a rare occurrence, but it may still happen, so be wary.
If the SH(Slayer in Heat) happens to meet another slayer with a mate, they may challenge that Slayer for dominance and their mate. If the SH loses that battles they could return during stage 6 and steal the mate. If this does happen, the SH will try to mate with the SM(stolen mate). Obviously, when the Slayer realizes their mate is gone, they will go on a rampage looking for them.
Caution: If the SH successfully mates with the SM, then they are bound forever, regardless of what the mate wants.
If the slayer saves their mate before the mating  process, then the mate still belongs to the slayer. Often times the theif is punished, most likely by death.

[STAGE 5] DOMINANCE
During this stage the Slayer and Mate will decide who is dominant in the relationship. They do this by having a battle, whoever wins gets to be dominate. If it is a tie, they will switch from time to time. After the fight, the winner will order the loser around and basicly do whatever they want.

[STAGE 6 AND 7] SLAYERS/MATES LUSTFULNESS
Stage 6 and 7 are exactly what they sound like. Stage 6, the Slayer will be really horny towards the mate. The mate will not be as horny, but may engage in sexual action. Stage 7 is when the mate gets horny as well, sexual action is bound to happen during Stage 7.

Extra:
If something happens to the mate during the season, it could effect all of the stages, causing them to merge.
Also, the Slayer will be horny throughout the entire season, but during stages 6 & 7 it will be increased to the max amount!

So, that is the guide to Dragon Slayer Mating Season. To all Mates and Slayers, please stay safe and try to have a good time!
