Maryam's Beautiful Story

Threat

Zayn's pov
   Life so far has shown me it's good side and I'm making sure I enjoy it to the fullest, you never know when life will put you in another situation that will put you in a tight situation, but Sha! I hope we would be happy forever insha Allah.
    Maryam has completed her studies and have already started working in a law firm, and I must say, these past few days, she has been acting weirdly and I'm planning on finding out what the problem is today. I have been feeling uneasy today as if something as if something bad is gonna happen, I just shrugged and pray for the best.

Maryam's pov
      Alhamdulillah so far I have graduated and I have started working in a law firm and I I'm currently working on a dangerous, it has not been easy as a powerful politian was being violent on his wife and so, I took the case and I have been receiving so many calls threatening me to withdraw from the case but I refused.
     So today, I received a call threatening me to leave the country and if not, they will kill zayn and my unborn child, yeah I found out I was pregnant a week ago and I'm planning on telling zayn but then received this call and I knew I had to leave for Zayn's sake.
    I wrote a long letter telling Zayn I'm sorry that I had to leave but promised him to come back to him when everything has been solved. I didn't tell him of the threat as I didn't want to worry him.
    I sent all my family members a message telling them I'm sorry and I  would come back to them very soon. I broke my sim and packed all the things I would need  and left the house immediately before zayn woke up.
    I immediately went to the airport as my flight was leaving in about 30 minutes,yeah I'm leaving the country for good and I'm traveling to Lagos.I made sure I didn't use my name as I didn't want Zayn to find me another time from now.
     I boarded my flight and found my seat and cried to my heart content. I felt very bad that I'm leaving everything behind to start everything afresh. I already contacted barr.saddiqah sanusi and she told to come to Lagos and stay with her for the meantime.
     I arrived at Lagos early in the morning and I saw barr saddiqa waiting for me and immediately I saw her, I hugged her and started crying, she let me cry to my heart's content and then she dragged me to the car and we left for her house. If not for the condition I was in, I would have taken my time  to admire her house as it was a family house a very big mansion.
      She showed me my room and I hugged her thanking her and she said what are sisters for😭she reminds me alot of ya yusrah and I see her my my sister too. She is a great lawyer who never fails her client in court.
   
2 weeks later,
     I have changed my identity and everything else so that no one can trace me. Barr saddiqa got me a new job and I have already started working, I don't want to be a burden and I also need to be strong and independent for my baby.
