a boy with fluffy, cherry hair greeted them warmly. the smile he had was sincere and yoshi immediately felt a willingness to get to know him more.

"doyoungie!" was hyunsuk's exclamation followed by their cheerful hug.

yoshi stood aside a little out of place but it didn't last long. his angel made sure that the other will feel at home, so the awkwardness wore off right after introducing one to another.

"yoshi, it's doyoung the friend I've told you about. doyoungie, it's yoshi, my..."

"your dearest human on earth." finished the cherry-haired boy.

the words he added were very sweet, yet the smile he had faltered a little which didn't go unnoticed by yoshi. the conversation however got on easily, hyunsuk put yoshi at his ease by talking endlessly and lively. doyoung turned out to be very polite and overall a jolly boy.

yoshi didn't know for how long he has been in heaven with hyunsuk, however, when his angel said that it was time to go back, he felt like it has been only a minute and he wanted to stay longer.

"don't worry my yoshi. I will come to you tomorrow too." he assured the other, and placed his palm on yoshi's cheek, caressing it.

at this instant, the boy felt overwhelming drowsiness. his eyelids became heavy and he soon blacked out. he disappeared from hyunsuk's side, leaving two friends alone. the older knew that yoshi will just wake up in his bed in some minutes so he needn't to worry about him.

"do you think they won't find out that you welcomed a human here?"

a serious question put by doyoung made the other look at him.

"even if they do, I won't regret. I don't dread what mashiho would say, he loves humans so much, they are his favorites, so he shouldn't..."

"what about archangel jihoon?"

hyunsuk knew the inquires appeared because doyoung was simply concerned about hyunsuk's future.

"jihoon respects me. I am the oldest among the three prior archangels so he has nothing to say against my action."

"don't you remember what happened to asahi?*"

hyunsuk trailed off. the atmosphere became heavier at the mention of their lost friend.

"it was different." he reasoned after a moment of silence. "he was a regular angel and he disobeyed the sacred rules. there was no option but to punish him and teach other angels a lesson. jihoon... jihoon just did what was appropriate."

doyoung looked down, fidgeting his fingers nervously.

"I know hyung, I am sorry for taking it up... it's just I miss him. I miss asahi."

"don't think about it too much. it will only take away your energy." hyunsuk consoled his younger friend. "your jihoon hyung made sure to make the punishment bearable. asahi is happy now, surely happier than he was here."

the archangel patted the other on the back since he was slightly shaking. they sat together in silence, which wasn't heavy or unsettling anymore. they enjoyed the last peaceful moments.
