it took two years for hyunsuk to get back his health. losing wings for an angel is like becoming disabled. as hyunsuk finally regained consciousness which took a month itself, he couldn't walk. his legs became wobbly, he had no control over them. whenever he wanted to get up from the bed he needed someone to hold on to.

every step was like an unreachable dream, consuming so much energy and effort. if the situation was different his condition wouldn't be this deteriorated. if he wasn't the one removing his wings, but he had it done by another skilful angel, his wounds, by-and-by scars, would be the only sign bringing memories of his heavenly life.

how many sorrowful nights he had, how many tears he had cried out of anguish, how many times he missed his yoshi, how many times he wanted to see him, talk to him, justify why he couldn't come to him for such a long span, how he regretted his commitment.

and if it wasn't for his friends, he would probably never be able to run far away from his worries, helplessness, inefficiencies, and depressing thoughts.

"you can do it hyung! one more step!" an encouraging voice of mashiho was always there.

"you should rest now tomorrow I will visit you again, see you hyung!" the care and tenderness he witnessed from doyoung could alleviate every pain.

"shall we take a walk together? once you are all well, you will see your yoshi." last but not least - jihoonie. the one was forgiven even before hyunsuk put any blame on him.

he was the one seeing after him the most. thanks to jihoon and his endless support, reminders not to give up, and mentioning about the one he loved, hyunsuk's recovery hasn't been an imaginary goal but it changed to a dream which ought to be achieved.

finally after two long years of hardships, hyunsuk bid goodbye to his dearest friends and left heaven. his vacant place of the main archangel took jihoon, meanwhile, yedam got nominated to improve into an archangel, to fill the space. hyunsuk was glad everything will be settled even after his departure.

that's how one day he appeared on earth, got noticed by yoshi, and was taken to his home. after an everlasting time of waiting, he was back in the other's arms.
