"Hm...Why don't you send a message to Y/N? Iguro-san and I always exchange letters and messages, I'm sure she'll enjoy the company!" she said with a bright smile
"Hm...Maybe I will..." I said
Present:
Y/N POV
Muichiro kept sending me letters and I was enjoying the company. I felt something land on my head, I picked the item on my head. It was a Ginko leaf. And then Ginko, the crow perched on my shoulders, it was another note. I opened it. The crow then left.
'I can't send any more letter, I guess I'll see you sometime...-Muichiro'
My smile dropped. I sighed. Then Ginko came back, I then opened the next note.
'Turn around...-Muichiro'
I was confused. I then felt a finger poke me from behind.
"I said turn around..." a voice behind me said, I turned around and saw Muichiro standing there with Ginko on his shoulder
"Muichiro-kun?" I asked in a surprised voice "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to train the demon slayers?"
"Eh...I made them go run around till I come back, which is probably till sunset," he explains
"Are you sure that they'll be okay?" I asked
"Yeah...I'm pretty sure," Muichiro says, he then turns to the Ginko tree and admires it
"Do you like the Ginko's?"I asked he nods, we then admired the tree and the background around it
"S-Say Y/N...There's going to be a festival tonight in the village, the rest of the pillars are going...Would you like to go with me?" Muichiro asks
"Of course," I said with a bright smile, he then turns red and turns away from me, a couple of seconds later he turns back with a serious face and his hands reach towards me, my heartbeat quickly. He then goes onto my head.
"You had a Ginko leaf on your head," he chuckles and removes the leaf from my head, I turned a bit red
"T-Thanks!" I said
A couple of hours later:
Y/N POV
The sun was setting so that meant Muichiro needed to go back.
"Muichiro-kun, don't you need to go back now?" I said turning to him, he then nods and gets up
"I guess I'll see you later tonight Y/N..." he says with a gentle smile, I smiled back at him
"Of course...", I then went home to get ready for the festival tonight, I wore my red yukata and my mom hairpiece, I then walked out of my estate and saw Muichiro waiting for me, I smiled and shouted his name
Muichiro POV
I waited outside of her estate, I was planning to confess my feelings to her tonight. I then heard her shout my name, I looked up. She looked extremely beautiful with the moon shining above her. I then offered my hand to her.
"Ready to go?" I asked, she smiled and took my hand
"Yes," we then held hands and walked to the village
Y/N POV
There were many things at the festivals...Activities, food, and many others.
"You wanna go get some food first?" I asked as I pointed at a food stand with tempura, he nods, we went to purchase some tempura and fried pumpkin, I took a bite "Umai!"
I then looked around and saw Muichiro staring at the fish-catching game. I tugged his yukata gently.
"Do you want to play?" I asked, he nodded shyly, I then paid for the game and I used the little scooper and caught a fish, I saw Muichiro struggling a bit, he finally caught one, but the fish flopped onto his face and landed back into the water. I chuckled, I then saw a child crying because he couldn't get one, I then gave him my fish.
"Here," I said with a gentle smile
"T-Thank you," he said bowing slightly and walking back to an adult, who seemed like his mom
I then felt a finger poking me from behind. It was Muichiro.
"Here, this is for you," he says placing a necklace around my neck, I noticed he also had a matching one "Y/N I want to tell you something, I-"
He was then interrupted by the fireworks, we then admired it for a while.
"Isn't it beautiful? When I was a kid I've always loved it. They are like suns at night! When everything becomes dark and sad, then the fireworks go boom boom and become the light of the sky!" I said smiling at Muichiro
The fireworks then stopped.
"Anyways what were you saying Muichiro-kun?" I asked with curiosity
"I-" he was then interrupted again by a person
"Oi! Y/N! Muichiro! I didn't know that you were at the festival!" a voice says
I turned around and saw Tengen with his wives and the rest of the pillars.
"Oh! Hi everyone," I said waving, Muichiro nods "Muichiro was about to tell me something,"
"Oh it's nothing, you can go and have fun with the pillars," he said with an assuring smile
2 weeks later:
It has been 2 weeks since I've talked to Muichiro, and only 3 people have passed my level. I swung my legs around waiting.
"Oh? Y/N?" I heard a voice behind me, I turned around
"Oh hello, Mitsuri!" I said with a smile, she then sat down next to me
"Say, you haven't been talking to Tokito-san recently have you?" she asks
"Not since the festival two weeks ago," I explained
"Two weeks ago?!" she says in confusion "You should go talk to him before other girls take him!"
"What do you mean?" I asked in confusion
"Ack! Just go and talk to him! It's not like you have anything else to do!" she says shoving me out of my estate
"Eh?" I then walked to Muichiro's estate
"Oh...You did good Mei," I heard Muichiros voice
"Thank you Tokito-san!" she says bowing, Muichiro smiled, the girl then scurried off
'Oh he must be training his smiles and helping the students,' I thought to myself and smiled, I then walked over and sat down
"Y/N?" Muichiro asks
"Hello, Muichiro-kun!" I said with a smile
"What are you doing here?" he asks
"Mm, just wanna hang out!" I said, he then sits next to me "So how is training?"
"Better," he smiles "Now that you are here,"
