"It all started the day we broke up." and so Dream told George what had been tormenting him for the past five years.
It was a beautiful day.
Dream opened the window in his office, admiring the beautiful view. His house was on the outside of town, it's back facing a flower field that led to a forest.
He would never forget the face of his lover when he told him about it.
His lover.
George.
The pretty brunette who had stolen his heart.
The pretty brunette who had been able to get through Dream's wicked heart.
The pretty brunette who had been brave enough to give Dream a chance he didn't deserve. A chance to be part of George's life.
They had been together for a year, and even though they both knew they could tell the entire world they loved each other, they were happy to have the other's company.
They loved each other.
Dream was sure of it. The night before he had heard George whisper 'I love you' before falling asleep.
Dream never thought he would hear those words towards him.
And even though he was sure about how he felt for George, there would always be a small part of him that told him that George didn't feel the same way, so he never told George how he felt.
But now he knew.
And he loved him too.
He heard a faint knock on the front door, and didn't think much about it. It was probably George who had forgotten his key like he had done many times before.
He opened the door, ready to mock his boyfriend for his inattention, but he was surprised to see someone else.
"Hey." Dream greeted the person at the door. It was a short man with a dark blue covering his brunette hair. He gave the blonde a smile that sent shivers to his spine.
"Hey Dream, can I come in?" the man asked like he had just asked him what time it was.
He felt how his breath suddenly disappeared.
"I'm sorry?" Dream tried to pretend he didn't know what the shorter meant.
"Please," the intruder let out a sarcastic laugh as he rolled his eyes. "are you really going to play dumb with me?"
Dream knew he had been exposed. He knew the man wasn't going to let it go.
He catched a glance at someone who was passing by the house. He could wait for them to pass by and snap the man's neck without anyone knowing.
"Oh Dream, I really wouldn't recommend you doing what you're thinking. You see, if I don't leave in the next fifthteen minutes, my man will give the guards the proof they need to put you in jail." he pointed out as if he had read the blonde's mind.
What proof could he be talking about? Dream was very careful when doing any job. He always made sure no one would follow him, he made sure he didn't leave any tracks.
"Proof?" he questioned, raising his eyebrow.
"You see, a couple days ago, there was a murder on the outskirts of town. A man was found dead with your signature. That dumb smiley face carved in his skin. But I found out that there was also a dried black rose laying over his body."
