Three and Eight started sleeping in the same bed from then on. They considered that since it had been done already, and since the bed was extremely comfy, that it was probably the best idea. However, that night, he woke up to the sounds of small sobs, along with Eight trembling.
"P-please, Three..." He heard her mumble. "D-don't go..."
He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her in close, warm, somewhat sweaty skin against his chest. She shuffled around and turned, her forehead now on his collarbone as their legs tangled together under the covers. Three couldn't tell if she was still asleep or not, but guessing by the noises she was making, the Octoling probably was. After a while, he fell asleep again, Eight wrapped in his arms.

     *Around 3 hours later...*
He woke up to light breathing on his face and sunbeams on his back. Birds chirped and tweeted from outside, and some of the crickets still played their clicking symphony. Three didn't bother opening his eyes, they felt too heavy.
RIIIIIIIIIING!!! His alarm shrieked, waking them both up. Three sat up quick as ink shooting from a Charger and Eight leapt off the bed, grabbed her Inkbrush, and held it high. RIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!!
He grabbed his phone and turned it off with a sigh as he leaned his head back again. Eight dropped her Inkbrush and flopped back onto the bed, face buried in the pillows.
"Five more minutes?" She asked, voice muffled.
"That alarm was for 10:00 in the morning," Three said. "I think we should be getting up by now."
He heard Eight sigh, but she didn't move. Three got up, stretched, yawned, and stared at the lazy figure of Agent 8, sprawled comfortably across the bed. He walked over, wrapped his arms around her waist, and gently hauled her up with a smile.
"Come on, get up, Eight." He said. She laughed, reaching for the bed.
"Five more minuuuutesssss!" Eight said. "I'm tired!"
"We did nothing yesterday," Three said. "How can you be tired?"
"Well, even though I beat you easily," She said. "You were still a pain to fight! Dodge-rolling doesn't roll itself, y'know."
"Do I really have to carry you into the kitchen just so we can have brunch?" He asked.
Eyes already closed, she giggled. "Yes. What's brunch?"
"It's like saying breakfast and lunch." He responded. "Y'know. Brunch."
     "M-hm. What?"
He slid his arm under her legs and picked her up. She laughed.
"I didn't think you were actually going to do it!" Eight said, trying to get off. "Put me down!"
He let her go and she fell over with a yelp. "Hey!"
"You said to put you down!" Three said. "I simply followed orders."
She swatted at him and sauntered over to the kitchen. He turned on his phone and started texting Aaron.
         10:03 A.M. Wednesday, October 27th

                                                                          You:
                                Hey Aaron. Good morning.

Aaron:
Good morning, Three! How did it go last night?

                                                                          You:
Fine. Eight and I figured it would be best if we just slept in the bed. It's much more comfy than the couch.

Aaron:
Haha! Spicing it it up in the bedroom, huh? Lol.

                                                                          You:
Aaron. No. We're not a thing. We just wanted better sleep.
Anyway, do we have any missions today?

Aaron:
Don't think so. If we do, Pearl, Marina, and Gabriel are probably handling it.
You and Eight wanna meet me at the Deca Tower so we can play some Turf?

                                                                          You:
I'm sure Eight'd love that. Let me ask her. If so, meet at the Deca Tower at 11:00?
