For the past few days, the situation has not changed nor is going well. Rosalie's parents pressured Rosalie even more to get her to accept Royce. The more she was pressured, the more she pushed.

Mr.Hale is wise enough not to force Rosalie to go home every time she disappears to Megan's house, this is because to keep the image of himself that he is very proud of. It shows there how hypocritical he is as a human being.

Rosalie has done everything she can to prove to her parents that she doesn't accept all of this, including rejecting offers every time Royce asks her out. She went nowhere but to Megan's house or to the meadow. All she had done was only to infuriate her parents and even Royce.

Megan, on the other hand, was not as cheerful as before, which attracted her mother's attention. She did not know what to do, indeed she was brave but she had no power to do anything. If it was allowed, from the beginning she would have married Rosalie, even without her parent's approval.

Her mother who wanted to increase her cheerfulness joked by suggesting Megan to run away with Rosalie, that indeed distracted her from the shackles of grief even if only for a moment. Even how silly it was, it can be done but she doesn't want to face the problems that come after that, plus she didn't want to leave her mother alone.

So every day, nights passed, go to the meadow if not to Megan's house. Like the days before there was nothing they cared about or worried about. Yet tonight is different, she presented with so bad news that she is speechless. The wedding date has been set, and it is in two months from now. Rosalie, who was run to her house to tell her about it, sobbed, even more so when she didn't get any reaction from Megan.

"Please, say something... " Rosalie pleaded beside her, the brunette girl's arm gripped tightly by her. Still not getting a reply, she hugged the girl to get her attention, crying as much as she wanted on Megan's shoulder.

"Even now I swear never to leave you, even though I have and will do my best to keep you from the man, no matter how hard we try... this is still your chance" Megan faced her lover with pain clearly visible on her face. She wants Rosalie the girl she wants to marry one day, she wants Rosalie to be hers. Yet why is the world so cruel to them by putting so many barriers just for them to be together and being jealous of the time they spend.

"My chance of what?...If you say it's my chance to have someone to love, I already have you that I love more than my own life. If you say this is my chance to have a family, there would be no that term if I'm with him. And if you say this is my chance to have children, we can have them someday. You see, you're the one I want, not him"
