1994
The air was cool, but not enough to be cold. The sky was a brilliant lilac as gold leaves drifted on the breeze, from the trees surrounding the river. The river was calm and even-paced, with large lotus flowers floating on the surface. Small, white fish swam by, shimmering in the light of the sun hovering in the sky.
The golden leaves shone and sparkled from the branches of white trees, with little black birds nesting among them. Their soft song filled the air, as they flew between the trees.
Every living thing in the world was thrumming with magic, and had a mystical allure to it.Near the dark, snowy mountains, a giant tree broke from the forest, radiating an energy of life. Giant crimson birds soared overhead, straight for the tree. Their song was lower in tone, and could be feel it in the bones. Another group of birds drew her gaze from the crimson bird. One looked back at her with fierce golden eyes and jet black feathers.
Megan followed the birds towards the tree, on a worn dirt road so rich it was almost black. The grass around the small road was crimson, like the other birds, and soft like feathers. The breeze gently blew the grass, and it softly brushed against her ankles as she walked. The stone bridge above her stood majestically.
The environment greatly influences the creatures living in it. Getting a good picture of the environment help them visualize and understand the world they live in better.Megan stopped her step downstream. She was able to see clearly around with all the natural beauty of the elven island. She could see an aesthetic of nature. She could feel the wind breeze softly against her body. She could hear the chirping of the birds, the rushing of the waterfall before her eyes.
The soft hum of the fairies could be heard clearly in her ears. Her eyes closed as if lulled by the beautiful melody. She felt as if she had been given a reward that she could only feel once in a lifetime. While this is the reality of her life, she is not a human being. In fact, there was not a drop of human blood in her body. Every time she reminded that to herself, she knew she was now where she belonged.
"You will never stop doing this appreciation, will you?"
Megan smiles. "Every time I come here, I will do it again and again. It never felt real. I wish Rosie could feel all this, being here with me. I'm sure it will feel more beautiful."
"Oh, she definitely will" Clarissa walked gracefully closer to her daughter. "Until you have married her, you will allowed to bring her here whenever you want. That's when no one will stop you, even if she's a vampire."
"I can't wait for that moment. When the time comes, I will take her to every side of this island." Megan could not help but imagine that. She wants Rosalie to see the place where she always goes away when she just wants to be alone. She also wants to introduce Rosalie to the people who have all this time generously accepted her even though she is a Sanaedhel, which is a hybrid of an elf and a vampire.
