On the Way to School

'Oh my god,' Sora thought during their next tutoring session. 'These two both have a crush on me,'

The two both tried to be inconspicuous in their behavior, but failed miserably at it. There were way too many "accidental" hands brushing against each other and shoulder bumps. She also noticed how they sent annoyed glances toward each other but had a soft expression when it came to her.

'Why do they have a crush on me!?' Sora mentally groaned. 'They haven't known me for that long!' She wanted to facepalm herself, but resisted the urge. 'Then again, strangers go on dates with each other through dating apps. But these two can't possibly be in love with me, right? They don't have a crush on me. They're just feeling lust or something. They'll eventually realize that I am not interested and stop flirting with me and move onto some other girl that perks their interests,'

Nope. Even after an entire week of tutoring, the two boys were still drawn to Sora.

As expected, Sora was not able to get into Yeo-Il High School. She was not enrolled into any of the known all boys schools in the Webtoon, meaning she didn't get into Eunjang, Hyeongshin, Yoosun, Ganghak, or Daehyeon. Instead, she was enrolled into Songmin High School, an all girls school.

'Songmin High School,'  Sora thought the night before her first day of school. 'In Ch 100, Jack's middle school friend planned a blind date with two girls from Songmin and wanted Jack to be his wingman, but Jack refused. I wonder, do Julia Chae and Lily go to that school? Actually, they wear two different uniforms so I guess they go to different schools, 

'Lily's uniform consists of a white dress shirt, a yellow vest, and a tie...That's the uniform of Byuksan High School. Since Byuksan Middle school was co-ed, it's not surprising that Byuksan High is also co-ed. Byuksan High is probably almost as hard to get into as Yeo-Il since it's an elite school. Fortunately I never got in since if I saw Wesley Song, Bryce Oh, or Oswald Yang...I might get arrested for assault,'

'I fucking hate this uniform,' Sora thought as she stared at her reflection. She wore a white, long sleeved, collared shirt, a grey vest, a grey and yellow striped bowtie, and a black skirt. 'Of course I should've expected this since it is the same high school Julia goes to and she had a uniform on when she destroyed Rowan's backpack. I don't like vests or bowties. And skirts would just make it harder for me to run away if trouble were to occur,'

"Rules are rules," She sighed. "I'll just wear some leggings underneath in case the wind blows. I should probably start heading out now," 'Riz and Amy asked me to take Azure to preschool on the way since Riz has a doctor's appointment and Amy was running late for a meeting,'

She exited her room. "Azure, are you ready?"

"Yep!" The five year old nodded. 

"Alright, let's go," They headed to Sunnyside Elementary School with Sora holding the boy's hand.

The walk was nice. Azure happily chatted about various random things and Sora listened, occasionally nodding her head and responding.

It didn't take long to reach Sunnyside Elementary School. The woman at the gate smiled warmly. "Hello, I haven't seen you before,"

"Azure's parents asked me to drop him off since they were busy," Sora explained.

"Ms. Parker, Sora's my big sister!" Azure introduced. "Sora, this is Ms. Parker! She's really nice!"

"I'm Sora Kirigawa," Sora introduced herself. "Azure, why don't you head to your classroom? I need to get going too if I want to get to school on time. I don't want to be late on my first day,"

"Okay!" Azure waved to her. "Bye-bye Sora!"

Yep, Sora's Korean had improved greatly since Donald and Kingsley started tutoring her.

As Sora walked to Songmin High School, occasionally glancing at a map, she thought back to how Azure had introduced her to Ms. Parker. He had called her his sister. Riz had also mentioned that he and Amy considered her to be like a daughter to them.

Sora bit her lip. 'I can't get attached to them and they shouldn't get attached to me,'

She wasn't going to stay here forever in this fictional world. She was going to eventually return to the Real World, to her cousins, her aunt, and her uncle. There had to be a way back home. She didn't want to be trapped here forever. If there was a way into the Weak Hero World, there should be a way out of it.

'I'm actually jealous of Azure's happy family. I used to have loving parents like him, but my older brother murdered them,' She could clearly remember Soro shooting their parents right in front of her eyes. There had been a lot of blood, so much blood. 

'Stop!' Sora frantically shook her head. 'I can't think of that! I shouldn't be thinking of that right now. I should be focusing on surviving in this world I'm currently in and finding a way back home,'

Home...She missed home.

Most of my OCs have some kind of tragic past. Even Alistair has a somewhat tragic past. Wow, my OCs just can't get a break.
