15. Mess

Jihoon's POV

I was currently walking discreetly as I tried to look normal so I won't stand out. As soon they turned their heads at me, I quickly hid in the corner. I waited for a couple of seconds before peeking.

As I peeked, I saw human clothes near my face. I slowly looked up and saw Minji standing in front of me. I literally jumped out of shock. I tried to stand and act normal but my mind is panicking.

"Minji! Didn't know you're here!" I said in high pitch while trying to pose normally.

"Oh really?" She asked as she folded her arms.

"Y-yeah! I need to go. I-I have some appointments. Bye!" I stuttered as I tried to escape the situation.

"Jihoon." She called which made me stop walking. "We've talked about this."

"I know. I just can't help it." I said as slowly faced her.

"What do you think Soobin will do to me?" She asked with a little bit frustration."We've known each other for months already. He even met my mother and he literally became her child." She said, trying to convince me.

"You never know. No matter how well you know the person, maybe he's hiding something." I said, trying to oppose.

Moments later, I realized that I chose the wrong words. I looked at Minji and she was looking at the ground, looking so glum.

"Minji, I didn't mean that." I tried to justify myself.

"No, it's okay. You're telling the truth." She said in a monotone. "I guess I didn't know you're insensitive sometimes, Jihoon." She said and there's a faint smile on her lips. "Soobin's waiting, see you around." She left.

I was about to say something but I can't because I don't know how to correct this. So stupid of me.

"Raesung! Are you going to keep this up?!" Our dance coach yelled.

We're currently at the studio, the coach is here today to check our choreography but Raesung keeps messing up the steps. The coach corrected him many times already but he keeps doing the same mistakes which made our Coach upset.

"What happened to you? You're not like this." Coach asked but Raesung didn't answer. "Answer me." He commanded.

"Nothing, Sir." Raesung silently answered.

Coach ran through his hair. He looks mad.

"Again." He said and we quickly went to our positions.

Hoping that he would succeed but it didn't happen, Raesung messed up again. Coach quickly turned off the music and sighed heavily.

"Yah, if you're gonna keep this comedy, do it on your own!" Coach yelled and Raesung said sorry.

"Dismiss. You're hopeless." The coach said and exited the room as he slammed the door.

The studio was filled with deafening silence. Later on, we heard Raesung sobbing. No one's moving from our positions.

"I'm sorry." Raesung apologized then started breaking down.

We walked towards him and tried to comfort him.

"I'm sorry for being a burden." He apologized.

"No, you're not. It's just not your day. You'll do great tomorrow, trust me." Hyunsuk tried to comfort him while caressing his back.

Raesung excused himself and walked out of the studio. We tried to stop him but he insisted.

"Don't worry, he'll be okay, Jihoon." Woong said while his hand is on my right shoulder.
