30. Two universe

Minji's POV

As soon I come out of our manager's office, someone called me. I looked for the owner of the voice and it was Yedam. He was with Jeongwoo and Haruto.

Every time I see Yedam, all I see is the devastated face of Lou when I begged her not to leave. I want to know why he did that to her but it's not my business because it's their relationship. So, I just act normal towards him.

"What's up?" I asked them.

"Just going to eat something." Yedam answered. "You?" He asked.

"Noona, why did you came from there?" Jeongwoo asked while pointing at the door of our manager.

"Oh, I... Uh" I started to panic.

"Oh! Minji!" Jihoon came out of nowhere and jogged towards us.

"Hyung." Yedam called. "Are you coming with us?" He asked.

"No, I'm going to eat with Minji." Jihoon replied while smiling.

The three boys started saying Ooohh and Jihoon shoved them away.

"Enjoy your date then." Yedam said as they past us.

"They're dating?" I heard Haruto asked Yedam.

Jihoon looked at the door behind me and realized that I was there.

"What did you do there? Did you talked to your manager about something?" Jihoon asked but it seems he's just casually asking without any suspicion.

"Jihoon, I need to talk to you." I said in a serious tone, avoiding his question.

"Me too. But first, let's go." He said and hastily grabbed my wrist but I didn't move.

"What's wrong? Come on!" He said enthusiastically so I gave up and let him drag me.

We rode a taxi and he was just talking non stop about random things. I just listened to him while I studied his face. I smiled when he smiles and I laughed when he laughs.

"Yah, Minji. Are you okay?" He asked out of nowhere.

"Oh, yeah. Why?" I snapped out.

"Your eyes... you're about to cry." He said and I quickly wiped my eyes.

"Ah, it's just the contacts." I lied and looked at my window.

"We're here!" He announced and I looked around.

We're at the nearby mini amusement park that just got open recently.

"Jihoon, why here?" I asked him while looking at the entrance of the park.

"Of course, what else?! To have fun, let's go!" He answered excitedly and dragged me to the ticket booth.

This is not exactly what I imagined it to be. We entered the amusement park and Jihoon roamed around like a kid. It's silly but I laughed at his silliness.

"Yah." He suddenly stopped running in front of me as he held my hands.

"Why?" I asked.

"I don't know what's happening in your mind but let me distract you from it. Will you let me?" He asked and smiled.

I looked at his face and I feel like I'm about to cry because I'm going to miss seeing his face this close. Okay, let's do this.

I nodded and he smiled widely making me smile too.

"Now, you're smiling." He said as he patted me. It feels good.

He took me to a nearby food truck and we ordered some food. We started eating while he was talking about the pranks they did in their group. I let myself get lost in his words and smiled, I forgot why I'm here as I laughed so hard with him.
