Summer of 2000
To Shinichiro
--- No amount of coffee is going to wake me up from reality.
If there was something that you hated more than a hundred-item surprise quiz on Pharmacology, it was mud on your newly washed white shoes.
You didn't expect it to rain today since the sun was shining brightly earlier in the morning, thus the reason why you haven't brought an umbrella with you. Currently, you were seeking shelter in front of a closed-up shop near the market district after buying some snacks for your personal stash.
It was pouring, and it looks like to wasn't going to stop anytime soon.
You shivered slightly as a gust of wind blew on your drenched clothes, the cold was seeping into your skin. That was until someone had approached your side, sudden warmth surged through the side of your body.
An opened umbrella hovered over your head. Trailing your eyes from the umbrella to the arm that held it to the face of the person offering it to you, your mouth went slightly ajar. It had been a week since you last saw this familiar face, "Sano.." his name escaped your lips.
His dark eyes widen after hearing you say his name, "You remember me?" pointing his index finger to himself.
Your lips curved to a small smile "It took me a while to realize but looks like you found me huh?"
As soon as you entered the motorbike shop that Sano Shinichiro owned, warmth embraced your cold body. The scent of metal and ash wafted in the air. You were amused to see shiny motorcycles, some in different colors and models lined up in an organized manner. The shop was kept clean, the shop owner must've taken great care of his establishment.
"You interested in motorbikes?" he asked, catching the amused glint in your eyes.
You shrugged, "I couldn't say that I'm that interested since I've never ridden one before" you honestly admitted.
