That night, Sherry and I arrived at Fazbear’s Frights. The clock said 11:59.

“Are you ready for this?” I asked as I turned to Sherry.

“Yes, let’s do this thing!” She replied excitedly.

We walked into the attraction. We slowly made our way to the security office. No one was there to tell us what to do. I looked around until I saw a pink sticky note.

You will be here at midnight the next few nights to practice for your job. You will get a call from one of our employees later.

P.G.

“P.G., what does that mean?” I asked.

Sherry came over and looked at the note.

“Maybe it’s the initials of our employer.”

P.G. There was something familiar about that, but I couldn’t put my finger on it.

Suddenly, the phone went off. Sherry picked it up.

“Hello, Fazbear’s Frights employee speaking!” She said sounding super cheerful.

She put it on speaker.

“Hey guys, good news! We found a ton of new relics for the attraction.” The voice said.

“What kind of relics?” I asked.

“Well, you’re not going to believe this, but we found an old Foxy head! I’m pretty sure it’s the real deal, but it could be some crappy cosplay.” He answered.

Sherry and I looked at each other and then back to the phone.

The man went on and explained about how to run everything. Then he hung up.

“He’s not like the first guy.” Sherry said.

I nodded in agreement.

“So, how about we get to checking the cameras.” I suggested.

Sherry immediately grabbed the tablet and looked at it. She seemed to stare at it for a few minutes. She tapped the screen and checked out the other rooms.

“There are a ton of old costumes scattered throughout the building.” She said.

I looked around and noticed a second tablet. I picked it up. There were several of systems that could be rebooted.

I tapped the reboot all. It beeped for a few seconds and then it stopped.

“What else do you see on the cameras?” I asked.

“Well, there’s this button that says play audio.” Sherry explained.

“Push it.” I said.

She nodded and did so. Suddenly, a child’s laugh could be heard.

“Balloon Boy!” Sherry yelled.

“Is he here in the building?” I asked.

She shook her head.

“No, that’s just what sound the audio makes apparently.”

I sighed.

“I kinda miss that little guy.”

A few hours passed and nothing really happened. Our shift finally came to an end and we left the building. In the car on the way home, Sherry and I chatted.

“So, do you think there’s anything weird about this one?” I asked.

Sherry shook her head.

“Not yet, but with our luck…” She said and trailed off.

I could tell she was upset. She was remembering about the old place.

“I really miss them.” She said quietly.

“I know. So do I.” I replied.

Sherry leaned back in her seat.

“Maybe something will happen tomorrow.”

“Yeah. Maybe.” I replied.

I drove us slowly down the street until we made it home.

I thought about the animatronics. Maybe we would see them again.

Maybe…
