I gaze out the window. There are thick snowflakes falling rapidly from the sky. People were advised to stay home although that just makes us want to go out more.

A group of teenage boys are enjoying the snow outside running in the middle of the streets. No vehicles are to be seen on the roads tonight.

I want to go join them, considering that my brother is out there with them but I am not a fan of the cold.
Therefore, I will stay in my house and enjoy the fire I built in the fireplace. There's also another reason I will not go out there, I realized. Beck is there.

I'm not Beck's biggest fan. I'm pretty sure the feeling is mutual and I'm ok with that. I can easily understand why everyone loves Beck. He is an exceptional student and he has a great sense of humor. Although Beck is sarcastic, he is never rude. He is extremely attractive and is unfortunately he is aware. Beck was not the nicest to me as a child. He would always steal my cookies that my mom made me. I am very protective over my food. He has never been nice to me and I am okay with that.

My homework is glaring at me and I sigh. My parents are never home, they are still trying to find out what happened to the 200 people that mysteriously went missing 10 years ago.

Everything basically went haywire about 150 years ago. It seemed like everything was under control until 200 missing person reports came in. I was only five but I remember people talking about it.

Families look warily outside at my brother and his friends. Some look angry and I see two government officials silently coming towards them. They were dressed in black suits and they are barley visible since it's snowing and it's pitch black outside.

I sigh and dart out of the house, warmness and all. "Xander! There are government officials coming. Get inside now!" I glance at his friends "you guys too! Now." I catch Beck smirking at me but decide to ignore it.

We all dash towards the house and I close it just in time judging by the way the officials are inspecting the footprints and looking for people near by.

"They almost caught you guys," I said accusingly. "Sorry Allison," Xander replied smiling sheepishly at me. "We just wanted to go out in the snow. You love how much I love snow!"

Xander is a year older than me and likes to do stupid stuff like this. Breaking a small rule that does not mean much just to get on people's nerves.

I personally prefer to fly under the radar and attack when no one is expecting it. I'm not suggesting that I don't love to break rules. I do it all the time, but you have to be very careful. I have yet to be caught and to be honest, it feels pretty good.

"Want some coffee?" I ask. Xander and his friends nod and beck just stares at me. "You guys go into the kitchen, we will be right there," Beck says. Xander throws me a questioning look. I blink four times rapidly which is our code for 'go with it now but if I need anything I'll call you'. Xander nods in return and he and his friends smirk at us and proceed into the kitchen.

"Here," Beck says and before I realize what's happening he pulls out a small snowball from his pocket and throws it at my left shoulder.

"How did that not melt already?" I ask amused but slightly annoyed. "Not really sure. I think my jacket has some thermal thing," Beck replies. "I saw you at your window. You looked like you wanted to come outside." Why will beck not stop talking? "I did but..." "But what?" Beck asks. "Well I try not to be a rude person, however I'm brutally honest and sarcastic but trust me what I'm about to say is not sarcasm." "Alright," a confused beck replies. "Well I was going to go out but then you were there." Beck looks hurt. "You don't like me." Beck plainly stated. "Correct." I reply. "Why?" His light brown eyes look hurt and his dark brown is tousled. How can I not like him? I soften for a brief second but get back to my regular self. "I'm sorry beck, but I do not tell people I don't like confidental information." "I'm worth not giving up on, but there are no promises," Beck replies. "What?" At this post I am very confused and slightly stressed. "Hmm?" Beck responds.

I quickly fling open the door, grab a fistful of snow and throw it at beck's chest. There is a hint of a smile on his face as he begins to walk slowly towards me, a playful threating look on his face.

Beck chases me outside and I feel the impacts of the snow hitting my back. I turn around sporadically and through snowballs back at him. I have a surprisingly good aim.

We are both tired out so We go to the kitchen for coffee.
