As they drove off they knew it was going to be a long day! It took 45 minutes to get to the track.

Kay's dad got out of the truck and said that Kay that if she didn't want to race this was the last chance she was allowed to back out of the game.

"All mini cup drivers come here!" A man in the distance yelled.

"That's you," Kay's dad said. Kay ran up to him along with 14 other kids.

2 of the kids there looked like she had seen them before, but she Didn't know were.

"Hi kids, my name is leery and I will be your couch for race ing," he said.

Most of the kids moaned as if they herd this saying over and over.

"Some of you guys will be racing for the first time,"
Leery continued
