Another one

Loki springs up, standing in front of you, producing knives in both hands he squares up to the man.
"Who are you?" He snarls
The man laughs
"You're the ones trespassing on my apocalypse, yet you have the nerve to ask me who i am"
"Lucky for you both, I've been keeping a close eye on you, watching to see if you pose a threat to me, and well, i can see your both too occupied for that"
"You can lower those down, you wont need them"
Loki doesn't move, knives still ready.
"I will ask again, who are you?" Loki asks sternly
The man chuckles "I'm a Loki"
Loki looks to him startled "you're a Loki? So you're me?"
"Id like to think of it as you're me, actually"
You stand up, ensuring your shirt is covering you, the man looks at you with a smirk, his eyebrows twitch.
"Hey!" Loki snaps
"Don't look at her like that"
The man tilts his head, he shifts his gaze back to Loki
"Whats this? I didn't think we were capable of feelings for another, you are the first Loki i have met that has"
Loki quickly becomes defensive
"Feelings? No, I'm protecting her from you"
You look at him with disgust "i do not need protecting Loki, i can do that perfectly fine myself, come and find me when you're done arguing with yourself, honestly, this is getting weird"
You pick up a bottle of wine, pushing past Loki you walk off.
"Oh dear, i think you've upset her" the man says smirking.
Loki retracts his knives, staring at the man for a moment longer.
"So, tell me this, how are you me?"
"Again to correct you, you're me. but moving on. You really think you're the only one? In millions of universes and timelines you think you are the only variant of Loki there is" he shakes his head
"No, there are plenty of us out there, plenty of her too, however youre more likely to come across a Loki, because, well, were good at surviving"
He begins to walk away. Loki stays still.
"Come on" he directs
"Where are we going?"
"To find your girl and get you on your way"
"Whats to say we aren't staying? Loki confidently boasts
"Well that for one" he points out of the window.
"We have about 3 days before the apocalypse, but be my guest if you want to stay longer"
Loki turns to see the storm escalating, he joins the man in walking.
"How long have you been here?" Loki questions
"A couple of weeks now"
"And they haven't found you? Assuming they too are looking for you?"
He nods
"They never stop, but no. Am i under the assumption you aren't aware that they cannot find you in an apocalypse or a natural disaster?"
Loki looks at him perplexed
"I take that as a yes, as the event will inevitably happen, no changes will prevent it, therefore a nexus event isn't produced, no nexus event, no minute men to come after you."
Loki takes a minute to process the information.
The stop as they find you, They see you sitting on the make shift bed reading your book and drinking your wine, you look to them, then back to your book.
"Come with me" the man looks to you
"I will show you something much better than this" he mocks, looking to Loki with a smirk.
"You both finished your 'who's the better Loki?'" You snarl
"For now" Loki replies.
You stand up, having managed to change into more appropriate clothing before they came back, you join them.
"So, how long have you been hiding for?"
Loki questions, it sparks your interest
"Since as long as i can remember"
"What" you interrupt "you've been hiding, from who?" You look at him confused, slightly concerned.
"The same people whom you are"
"What?" You're taken aback " Why don't you just go back to where you're from?"
"I could, but then theres no way back, once you get back onto your timeline, unless the TVA pick you up again, theres no way back, and the second time, they will likely prone you on the spot, so not worth it really"
"Ok, excuse me if I'm being ignorant, but why would you ever need to go back to the TVA?"
He laughs "because someone needs to destroy them, and I'm going to be the one to do it I've been planning it for years"
You look to Loki then back to the man.
"I know they're quite excessive in their ways, but destroy them, what are your means for that?"
"And heres me hoping you were here for the same thing"
He continues"All the people working for them are just like us, variants that triggered a nexus event, all brainwashed into thinking they were selected to work for the TVA"
You look at him open mouthed
"So what is this all for? The TVA?"
"A means of control no doubt" Loki jumps in, you look to him, a guilt in his eyes "Power, people that do unquestionable things, its because of Power"
You look to Loki, deflated.
You rub your Temples.
"Im going to need more wine" you shake your head, your mind trying to comprehend whats happening.
"Come with me, i have plenty of space, food and of course wine"
You both follow behind
"Do you trust him?" You whisper to Loki
"You tell me, you can trust me when no one else can, i think you're the better judge of character here"
"I think Loki's are misunderstood, not untrustworthy"
He looks to you and smiles
"Thats it then"
"Still can be dicks though" you shoot him a sarcastic smile and walk off joining the other Loki.
You follow him through a door, revealing the contents of a house, an open planned kitchen and living room, and doors down a hallway.
"Wow, did you make this?"
"Yes, better than what he made for you" he quips
"Actually i was going to make something, it would of been even better, but..."
You cut him off
"I didn't want him too, a nice make shift camp was perfect for me" you look to him giving him a warm reassuring smile.
"Well i can make an extra room for you. Here"
He points "you obviously have the kitchen, help yourself, and down the corridor to the right is the shower room"
Your eyes light up from the thought of a warm shower.
"Amazing! If you boys don't mind, I'm going to check that out"
They both go and sit down.
"So, why are you not telling her?" New Loki question
"Telling her what?"
He rolls his eyes
"You're feelings for her, you said you don't, but well we're the same and i know, even if you don't want to admit it"
Loki looks to him then down at the floor.
"Why do you think we haven't gone back yet, I've told her i don't know how to work the Tempad yet and get her back home, but in truth, i selfishly don't want to go back, not yet"
"She seems very keen to go back" new Loki reminds him
"I know, and i will have to take her back soon, she has family and friends that love her, that will be missing her, its easy for us, no one notices when were gone. But once i do take her back, shes gone from me forever."
"Thats not true, just build what you have back on Earth?"
Loki snuffs.
"Shes from the future, she jumped time to try and save the world, the time shes from I'm dead, they showed me everything"
He continues to look down, hiding his true sadness from view.
"So its better for her not to know" he inhales deeply and gets up.
"The first time we find someone we truly care about and we give up that easily, i had hoped one day a Loki would be happy, i know it wouldn't be me, but you have a chance, if shes worth it then work something out"
"Its impossible, our timelines don't align, and I've changed, i don't want to go back and be that person i saw, the person i was, killing, deceiving. And if i do, i loose her too, there isn't a way it works out"
He takes a drink downing it in one.
"The best option is she goes back and forgets about me, not hard when i don't exist in her timeline, and i can stay and help you destroy the TVA, surely two Lokis are better than 1?"
"I could certainly use the extra hands"
He gives him a willing look.
"Ive always been told and believed i will forever be alone, At least for a part of it i wasn't" he takes a deep breath, lost in his thoughts for a moment.
"let me go and tell her that I'm taking her home" Loki puts his glass down and heads towards the bathroom.
