Y/N POV

It had been a few weeks since my first introduction with Tony Stark in my apartment and I had been quickly adapting to living with the Avengers. Tony had set up a room for me here in the tower and gave me a credit card for when I wanted to buy something. I had quickly become close friends with Wanda and Nat and after the small conversation I had with Bucky a few weeks ago, I was also starting to warm up to his character.

I had settled in nicely and finally felt as if I was able to express myself truthfully. I didn't hide my powers and in fact, used them frequently around the tower when I was lazy or decided to pull a prank on Sam, which Bucky always seemed to enjoy all too much. Whenever he was around, Peter would always stay close to me, fascinated by the power I held. Even though I was only a few years older than him, I felt a close connection to the young boy in a way that I would protect him with my life. Honestly, I would do the same for the others too.

I soon fell into a routine - wake up early and have breakfast, then train with Steve for a few hours. I'd then have lunch and relax for a couple of hours, either watching a movie or reading one of the many books I had bought for myself when out with the girls. After dinner, the team would meet in the living room and we'd share stories or play some games, most of which involved drinking.

Sometimes the team would go on missions, leaving me alone in the tower, but I didn't mind. I'd just bake most of the time and lounge around but when boredom caught up to me, I'd spend my time daydreaming about going out with the team and saving the world. I'd think about meeting strange people and seeing new, fascinating things. But before I could get too deep into my thoughts, the team would come back and tell me all about how the mission went.

The days where the whole team was at the tower were always eventful in one way or another. But today was different. We were all gathered in the living room, either watching a movie on the massive screen or reading a book. So when I heard a ping from the elevator, I was immediately confused. I quickly looked around the room, looking for anyone that was missing but found no one.

A large, burly man with long blonde hair stepped out of the elevator and accompanying him was a smaller, lean man with raven hair and an intriguing look in his eyes. The smaller man was handcuffed and muzzled and I wondered what he must've done to deserve that treatment. But a loud sound coming from the blonde man broke me out of my thought. "FELLOW AVENGERS, I AM BACK!!" The sound was deafening and I had to plug my ears to stop my eardrum from bursting.

"What's up Point Break?" I heard Tony say behind me. The man scowled slightly from hearing the nickname but then returned to his joyful expression. Tony, however, was quite unamused when he saw the man standing next to 'Point Break'. "What the hell is Reindeer Games doing here?" he yelled. "Does everyone here have a nickname?" I thought. "The Allfather has banished Loki to Midgard to redeem himself for his crimes," the large man replied, pointing the raven-haired male. The man just rolled his eyes at the burly giant next to him.

"Is he really that bad that he needs all that gear on him though?" I thought to myself. "Look I get that maybe he's done awful things, but can we at least take the muzzle off? It's inhumane," I plead. "I don't think that's a good idea Y/n," Tony replied. "C'mon, the worst thing he could do is spit on the ground." "Mmm, no the worst thing he could do is actually start talking," Tony scoffed.

Fed up with his behaviour, I walked to the handcuffed man who I believed was named Loki and began to take the muzzle off, despite Tony's arguments against it. "There you go, better?" I asked with a small smile after I had taken the damn thing off. "Well well well, at least someone here has some common sense," he stated with a silky smooth voice, whilst he turned his head to everyone in the room.

He took his gaze back to me and asked, "What is your name, pet?" "It's Y/n," I said softly. "Well, Lady Y/n, I would kiss your hand as an act of courtesy but this oaf I call a brother decided to chain my hands together." I gave him a small smile whilst gazing into his eyes and replied, "It's nice to meet you Loki," before walking back to the group.
