LOKI POV
Once again, I was forced to socialise with Thor's Midgardian friends while the man of iron began working on a cuff to neutralise my powers. I sat down on the plush couch and wished for Heimdall to take me anywhere but here. However, I was interrupted by a small mortal boy sitting next to me. "Um, Mr Loki sir?" the boy asked. The boy was young with light brown hair and a curious look in his eyes. I found he was known as Spiderman.
He didn't seem hostile or rude and I wanted to at least try and show the other quims that I wasn't a cold-hearted god. To this boy at least. "Yes, spiderling?" I answered. His face lit up at the nickname and he turned so he was completely facing me on the couch. "I know you tried to take over Earth and everything, but why does everyone think you're such a bad guy? To me, it just looks like you were wronged and misunderstood."
I was surprised at how easily he could see through me, but from the look in his eyes, I could see he wasn't trying to hurt or taunt me in any way. I smiled slightly before saying, "Well spiderling, that would make you the wisest out of everyone here." "Thanks, Mr Loki sir!" the boy happily squealed. "That is quite alright, little spiderling." The boy swiftly jumped off the couch and in his place, sat Lady Y/n.
She didn't say anything but instead made a flame appear in her palm and started playing with it gently between her fingers. I was vastly intrigued by this and wanted to know more about her abilities. "Have you always had your powers?" I pondered. Still staring at the flame while it danced between her fingers, she answered, "Have you always been an asshole?" She immediately smirked after, satisfied with her response and I could feel the sarcasm seeping out of the comment.
"Only to those who deserve it, my dear." I had seen her expression earlier upon hearing my sly comment and had decided to continue my little scheme. "And what do I deserve?" she asked, almost seductively. I didn't know what game she was playing but I was curious to find out. "Well, what have you done, darling?" I questioned, matching her tone. She then leaned and whispered into my ear, "I've been a very bad girl," before nibbling my earlobe slightly and walking away as if nothing happened.
"Oh darling, two can play at that game," I thought.
Y/N POV
"Holy shit did I just do that?" I whispered under my breath. I couldn't have, right? It was a whole dream and that whole scenario didn't happen and it's just my mind playing tricks on me. Nope, it definitely happened. I just majorly flirted with the God of Mischief. I mean, he started it though so really it's not my fault.
As soon as I was out of sight from the god, I ran to my room and flopped onto the bed. I couldn't stop thinking about what I did and I knew he was going to get me back for it. And I was gonna let him. Wait no, he's a horrible person and could kill you instantly if he tried. On the other hand, there's nothing wrong with a bit of playful banter between two adults. As long as it doesn't get out of hand, which it won't.
After another half hour of laying on my bed, I decided to get out and join the others. When I opened my door, however, I saw Tony and Loki standing outside the room across from me. What interested me the most though, was that Loki wasn't wearing his handcuffs anymore but instead a single cuff on his arm. Somehow amused by this, I say, "Nice cuff, trickster." Tony and Loki turned their heads towards me and the god smirked. "I bet you'd like for me to put some cuffs on you instead, wouldn't you?" Damn, he was good.
I just scoffed at his comment and began talking to Tony. "So I'm guessing you managed to make the cuff?" He smiled proudly before saying, "Yep, and I'm the only one that can take it off. Oh and one more thing, Reindeer Games is gonna live across the hall from you and I told him that if he's gonna annoy anyone, it should be you. OK bye now!" And with that, Tony sped off down the hallway, leaving me with the sarcastic god.
I sighed, before making my way to the elevator. "You didn't answer me," the trickster god smirked. "About what?" I asked, knowing it was something that would put me on edge. "Whether or not you wanted me to put handcuffs on you, darling," he smiled slyly. I pondered for a second, thinking about how to answer before coming to a decision. I walked up to the tall, lean raven-haired man and whispered, "Well, why don't you come and find out?" before walking back into my room.
He stood there for a few seconds, bewildered by my comment but then started walking towards my doorway. I was already inside my room, resting my hand on the door, waiting for the right moment. He stepped closer and closer and right before he would walk in, I slammed the door in his face and held in a breath to keep myself from laughing.
"It's not gonna be that easy, darling," I smirked to myself.
