LOKI POV

After what felt like hours of standing with my hands chained, listening to Thor trying to convince the mortals that call themselves 'The Avengers' to let me stay, I was finally taken away from the quims and placed into a cell. Every 10 minutes or so, an Avenger came down and threatened me about 'trying to escape or hurting anyone' and I just nodded and replied with a witty comment that shut them up.

I was sitting on the small bed left in the room when Thor walked towards the glass separating me from the outside world. "Brother," I said snarkily. "Hello Loki, are you enjoying the cell?" He always knew how to make my blood boil but of course, I could never let him see that so I just replied, "But of course. There's no reason for me not to like it. However I would enjoy it if you would kindly take these cuffs off, would you brother?" I taunted while holding the cuffs out that cut off my magic.

"Actually Loki, I wanted to speak to you about the girl you were talking to upstairs." Ah yes, the maiden who so kindly took off the god awful muzzle that was restraining me. She was quite intriguing that one, and I could tell there was something powerful coursing through her. One might say I was curious to find out what. "What about her?" I smirked. "What are you planning to do with her, brother? She isn't a toy you can play with and then discard when you're bored with her. She is a human being and you should treat her as such!" he yelled.

I was honestly offended that he would think that, though I wasn't surprised. That did sound like something I would do. "Brother, I am merely curious as to what power she holds within her. Perhaps one day she could be an ally of mine." His face grew shocked and angry. "Oh don't overreact, brother, I only wish to befriend the maiden. Besides, it seems she is the only competent one out of all of them," I stated with a smirk. Upon hearing this, he left, once again leaving me alone with my thoughts. "There is something different about that girl, and I wish to find out what," I whispered.

Y/N POV

"Look, can we at least give him a chance?" I had spent the last hour or so arguing with Tony and Clint about whether Loki should be allowed to stay with the rest of us. "He took over my mind! Do you guys not remember that?" Clint screamed. "OK, so we make sure he can't use his magic. Tony, you can make something to do that right?" I asked. "He threw me out of a window..." he mumbled angrily.

"Look, why am I the only one who wants to give him a chance? He's not going to get any better if we just leave him alone in a cell. He has to prove that he can change, and we have to give him the space to."

"She's right y'know," Nat spoke suddenly. "Trust me, he's not my favourite guy either, but he deserves a second chance." A few murmurs of agreement came from around the room, and thankfully, Tony gave in and grumbled to the elevator to fetch the so-called God of Mischief.

A few minutes later, an angry billionaire and a smirking god stepped out of the elevator and walked towards the team still waiting in the living room. "Did you all suddenly have a change of heart? Have you finally learnt to respect your superior?" the mischievous god smirked. "Can we put the muzzle back on please?" Tony demanded. "Tony...we talked about this."

I slowly walked up to the smirking god, looked him dead in the eye and said, "One more chance, that's it OK? You mess up again and I'll kick you out myself." He looked down at me with his signature smile. "Of course, darling, I wouldn't even dream about disobeying you." His response caught me off guard for a second before I quickly recollected myself. "Good, and I'll be watching you," I said. "I wouldn't have it any other way, pet."

God, he was a dick. A handsome dick nonetheless but still. But maybe, just maybe I'll have some fun with him.
