"Stop!" a lady ran behind a boy, not more than 4 years old. The little boy had fair skin, skin fairer than anyone's, thick, curly black locks, falling till his shoulders. His eyes darker than the night. A bright red angavastra with a matching dhoti, elegant gold borders ran across it. Suddenly the boy banged with another boy.
"Bhaiyya!" the boy exclaimed.
"Lakshman! Eat you food!" the other boy exclaimed.
Yes, it was lakshman.
"No, ram bhaiyya.. Pleaseeee" lakshman said, giving his famous puppy eyes.
Yes he was ram! Ram had skin colour like just formed clouds, his eyes a light shade of blue, he wore a pitambara, with a blue angavastra. His hair was charcoal colour, a bit lighter than lakshman's.
Someone suddenly grabbed lakshman's ear and twisted it slightly.
"Sumitra, don't hurt my laksh!" another woman came walking towards the trio.
Yes! She was sumitra.
"kaushalya didi!" sumitra exclaimed immediately leaving lakshman's ear like a good child.
Yes! She was kaushalya. Sumitra had fair skin, but not fair as her sons. Sumitra's eyes were a colour of charcoal, her hair black, like lakshman's.
"where is Shatrughna?" sumitra asked.
"Maaaa!" shatrughna came running. Shatrughna had fair skin, though a little darker than his twin. His eyes were a shade of brown, he was bharath's soul, practically.
"Shatrughna, wait!" bharath came running. Bharath had chestnut skin, like kaikey, his eyes held a calm expression, a shade of dark brown, his hair light brown, with streaks of black.
"come" sumitra extended her arms towards her other two sons. The duo hopped in her arms.
"Maa, you love me more, right?" shatrughna started, mischievously.
"No, dear, I love both of you equally" sumitra answered. Lakshman laughed at shatrughna's pout.
"Finally! Found you!" kaikey came. "Where had you gone, bacha?" Kaikey asked lakshman.
"Maa, I was.........being chased by maa! For no fault!" Lakshman answered, earning a small glare from sumitra.
"For no fault?!! You haven't eaten your breakfast!" Sumitra replied.
"Come I will feed you and ram" kaikey said taking both of them towards the dining table.
