"what rubbish?!", Ram laughed, trying to hide the blush that was spreading quite quickly.
"I didn't know you could blush, bhaiyya!", Lakshman burst out laughing, sending a teasing smile.
"Shut up!", Ram smacked his arm playfully.
"I'll see when it's your turn", Ram said and left to get food plates for them.
'Your turn'
Lakshman sighed, leaning his head back. The younger janaknandini's face was imprinted in his mind and soul. How wouldn't it be? They were a match made in heaven after all, like their siblings.
Somewhere in his heart he thought it wasn't possible, He and urmila? Seemed too impossible at the moment. She was his.
WAIT- when did she become his?
"Lakshman!", He was snapped out of his thoughts by ram snapping his fingers infront of his face.
"Huh? Yes?", Lakshman replied.
"What happened? You don't want bhojan?", Ram asked, putting forward the plate of foods.
"Ooohhh.. Did sita bhabhi give it to you?!", Lakshman smirked before eating a bite of the puri-kheer.
"Lakshman!", Ram tried to send a warning glare but failed miserably before his cheeks burst in the pink hues.
Lakshman was laughing again, almost choking on his food.
That's how the time was spent before Lakshman fell asleep.
-After some days-
"PITASHREEEEEEEE", Shatrughna was running through the whole palace trying to find his family. Where were they?!
Finally he found all of them in the garden. He rushed towards them before yelling,
"A LETTER HAS ARRIVED FROM MITHILA!"
Before he was tackled by bharath and letter was snatched.
Bharath read it patiently before breaking into cheers.
"BHAIYYA IS GETTING MARRIED! HE WON THE SWAYAMWAR!"
Soon the whole family was cheering.
"My ram is getting married! And that to Janak's daughter!", Dashrath exclaimed.
"Start the preparations for Mithila! What are you waiting for?!", it was kaikey this time.
"Kaushalya didi, Kaikey, come one!", sumitra dragged her two sisters.
"COME ONE, BHAIYYA!", Shatrughna shrieked.
"God! Shatru, stop shrieking in my ear! Kaan ke padde phad doge!", Bharath exclaimed keeping his palms on his ears dramatically.
"Oh come one! Don't act as if you're not excited!", Shatrughna exclaimed before running to their shared room.
-Mithila's palace-
"DIDI", Mandavi yelled running in Sita's room urmila laughing after her.
"What happened?", Sita asked.
"Didi, this urmi is continuously teasing me! Its your marriage after some months not mine!", Mandavi whined.
Sita burst in laughter as she heard her sisters rant.
"I just said that jijashree has three more brothers, The twins and one more brother named bharath and then she started blushing", Urmila smirked.
"Rakshasi, stop making up stories!", Mandavi ran behind her younger sister.
"Bhabhi!", Lakshman ran in with Shrutkirti behind him.
Urmila ran into him without seeing who it was, causing her to stumble and fall back. She closed her eyes ready for the fall but all she felt was a strong arm wrapping around her waist and hearing gasps. She opened her eyes only to see Lakshman squinting his own eyes and looking at her.
She tried to get up hastily, which only led her to falling back. Lakshman tried controlling his laughter, but everyone burst laughing like a domino pair.
"Don't laugh!", she smacked his arm playfully and glaring at her sisters playfully.
"Bhabhi-bhabhi, this is what bhaiyya gave you", Lakshman wheezed still trying to control his laughter, before he bowed to touch her feet, Sita's hand instinctively raised itself to bless him, before he left.
"Uh-Huhhhhhhhhhhh.. Seems like someone has fallen in love with third dahsrathnandan!", Shrutkirti sent a teasing smile to urmila who just blushed secretly.
"It's-its not my marriage! It's didi's!", She tried but lost trying not to show her blush as sita looked at her.
