The sun was just beginning to rise as Yazora rushed from the small house. The smell of flames had woken him from his most peaceful sleep in days. His feet hitting stone he paused in confusion at the sight before him. His traveling companions were locked in combat with their new allies. Iduna found herself going toe to toe with the bruiser Olivia with a pair of wooden training swords. She appeared to be holding her own against the brawler as they trained. Elsewhere Max appeared to be working with the gunslinger Lucas to practice his deflecting skills.

Scanning the area he found Aerith sitting off to the side with an aged Leone gunblade at the ready. Looking up he made eye contact with the Lionhearted warrior and he motioned him over with a nod. Slowly the Kingdom Key's new wielder crept over keeping his head low like a disciplined child. As he reached them Leon placed a hand on his head with a slight smile.

"So you're one Sora picked?" He questioned

"It's more an accidental choice." The younger hero admitted

"There are no accidents only twists in fate," Leon started patting him on the shoulder

Looking up the elder hero he was met with the smile of a kind father looking back at him. The lion of the garden gave his shoulder a gentle squeeze turning away from him. As the gunblade's wielder strolled away he began to stroll away he followed.

Suddenly the warrior stopped spinning on his toe before swinging his weapon in a wide arch.  Rolling Yozora dodged the glowing strike sent his direction before the  hit could land. Finding himself behind his elder he struck him with a swift swing. Jumping to the side Leon raised his free hand forming a fireball with a flick of his wrist he tossed the flaming orb like a baseball. As the ball rushed his way Yozora tossed his blade. His weapon sliced through the fireball bashing into Leon's forehead bouncing back. Before the weapon could be caught it was sent to the ground by a swipe of the gunblade. Gunblade stabbed into the ground Leon rushed his pupil punching him in the stomach. Gasping the youth's eyes widen in surprise sent backward from the impact.

"Leon, what're you doing?" He wheezed out

"Do you think you're always going to have your weapon you have to be ready to fight with whatever you have," Leon said popping his knuckles

"Makes as much sense as anything else that's happened lately," Yozora mumbled

Steadying himself the keyblade trainee lounged at Leon with a right hook. With a duck, Leon dodged sending the youth stumbling before flipping him to the ground. Landing on his back Yozora spun sending a sweep kick under Leon's legs. Knock off his feet the swordsman flipped launching a jump kick at his younger opponent. Rolling to his feet Yozora barely avoided the kick catching Leon by the foot. Toss him backward he sent him to the ground. As the elder jumped to his feet he was met with a series of punches only to guard them all. As the last blow landed Yozora fell forward letting out a struggled breath. With a weak smile, Leon hauled his newfound apprentice to his feet holding him up.

"You got heart kid I can see why Sora picked you." He said with a chuckle

"So tell me what's you're big end goal this time?"

From her place on her throne, Maleficent watched as blue flame sprang to life before her. As the flame glowed the familiar visage of Hades appeared came into view stepping from the flames. He wore a look of boredom as he bowed before her the ghost of a smile on his lips. It had been years since they had last been together in person a small part of her missed their talks. She mentally noted he rarely visited without a purpose, why was he here? Cautiously he raised a hand to her and she paused in surprise eyes widening slightly. He held a piece of his blue flame in his sapphire out for the taking without a bargain. Grinning she wrapped her fingers around the glowing flame slowly retracting her hand.

"It's simple dear Hades I am simply collecting rare bobbles." She said with a grin

Gripping her staff he held the flame to the orb within it and it took on a glowing blue swirl formed inside. AS she gripped her scepter the hem of her robes took on a matching blue tint a grin crossing her features. At the sight, Hades paused stepping backward. The god of the underworld swiftly retreated the realization sinking in that he had made a grave mistake. As he disappeared the queen evil basked in her new power forming a blue flame in her palm. The sound of a dark corridor opening pulled her from her thoughts as she glanced at her new guest.

"Finding the X-blade just got a little more complicated."

Vanitas appeared from the portal face set in an angry sneer. Resting against a pillar he punched it in annoyance causing it to rattle. Moments later another portal opened and a group of silver-haired men dressed in black stepped out. The leader among was Sephiroth eyes set in a hard stare as the others looked around in confusion.

Reaching the throne the one-winged angel bowed to the dark queen his cohorts following behind him like dominos. Watching the group the shadow Keyblade warrior snickered at the black-clad warriors. As he laughed the younger swordsman spun to face him gripping his blade glaring at him with murderous intent,

"You find us funny key boy?" he spat voice full of venom

"Key boy? I'm about shoving my key up your..." Vanitas started to say

"Manners Kadaj." Sephorioth scolded

Turning from his target Kadaj huffed. Stepping into the shadow Vanitas closed his eyes. Unsure of where he was going he let the darkness ensnare him. As it wrapped around him he sunk into the dark void.
