Jungkook came back in high spirits from speaking to his parents about taking Jimin as his official concubine. They agreed. King Jinheung even encouraged Jungkook to become a manly, virile alpha and take more omega concubines with age. However, his parents decided they wanted to see Jimin (not meet as in get to know, but see as in appraise) - and now Jimin is nervous.

"Don't worry love." Jungkook brushes a stray strand of hair behind Jimin's ear: "I have no doubt that they will be just as enchanted by your beauty as me... and not to make you feel bad, but maybe to make you less nervous: it's less about deciding whether or not to seal the deal, but more their curiosity to see you."

"Thanks. Now I feel better. I'm a circus attraction." Jimin counters dryly, but then can't help but chuckle as he pokes Jungkook's ribs playfully.

The young alpha laughs along easily. But then he turns mean and starts a tickle-attack on Jimin, making the elder shriek in laughter and try to worm his way out of the reach of his hands. Ripples of pearly giggles zip through his slender body when he ends up on his back, half buried by the alpha.

"Stop! I surrender." he snickers.

"What do I get?"

Jungkook asks lightly, innocently - but he looks like a focused panther about to jump his prey.

"A kiss?"

"Not enough." the younger breaks out into a voracious grin.

"Me." Jimin counters with a pout of his lips.

"Better."

The alpha dives down to kiss Jimin until he is breathless. He managed to dissolve the tension so easily, because the tight nervousness is completely erased from Jimin's mind as they lie in Jungkook's bed. They don't do anything in particular, just share small kisses, cuddly caresses and tiny bits and pieces of stories of their lives.

Not thinking of anything and just enjoying the comfortable closeness, Jimin forgets about his worries, his plans - and time. As the shadows grow longer, he just savors the stillness in time that only exists in the cocoon of Jungkook's arms.

Jungkook studies his face at close distance with those huge, bottomless eyes that make Jimin feel like he's the only person in the world that Jungkook really sees. Like the only person that exists. It's like a vacuum where concepts like enemies or Silla and Gaya don't exist. No other people exist. It's blissful ignorance.

But time flies and suddenly Jimin can't make out that adorable mole on Jungkook's nose in the almost-darkness anymore. He places a little kiss to where his memory guides him and sighs:

"It's getting late. We better get changed for dinner."

"True. Doll up, love." Jungkook beams a toothy smile at him as he adds: "I left something for you in your room."

When Jimin gets back to his room and finds the package waiting for him, he smiles, feeling all warm inside when he pictures Jungkook picking the gorgeously embroidered wine and purple colored hanbok for him. But then he gasps in surprise, because he finds the jewellery wrapped in it.

Slowly and with a gentle smile gracing his lips the omega fixes the little bun on top of his head with the delicate silver phoenix donggot pin while the rest of his hair flows past his neck freely. Gingerly, he fastens the pair of dangly, filigree earrings with silver feathers. And with an awed expression, he slips on the silver necklace with an exquisite pendant depicting a black onyx swan.
