all I remember of before was a lot of pain a ringing noise and a game called undertale and its fandom. I don't know why that was all I could remember I mean I didn't remember my own name but I feel like the fandom and the stories attached meant something to me I felt it was something I could not forget. waking up in a place with smell of blood and a bunch of corpses was not very pleasant nor was realizing I was a skeleton when I am pretty sure I was human before but I guess that is just part of the weird things happening to me today. I found a puddle not to far away so I decided to see what I looked like what I did not expect was to see the face of my favorite character in the undertale fandom nightmare. I looked exactly how I pictured he would the cyan eye and everything. I realized that I reincarnated as nightmare after the apple incident and after he killed all the villagers in the village for hurting him which explained the corpses and the dream statue it made me sad seeing all this but not regretful in a way the villagers should have seen this happening they did this to themself and well I wasn't going to pity them any further but I had to know one thing what kind of multiverse was this? was it the famous FGoD multiverse? the original? the shattered multiverse? only time would tell and I suppose I have a lot of it considering how new these bodies look it doesn't seem like even a week has past since they died and the dream statue looks brand new and considering my hight I'm much younger than the original nightmare was when he started his goal. since I am nightmare now I suppose I will also take his name and make it my own I don't remember my old one but I no longer need it this I me now I'm nightmare! wow ok that is going to take some getting used to oh well I have plenty of time hmm but now I need a goal one that will soot my needs at the moment hm well the original nightmares goal was to become the king of the multiverse so I guess I go with that but different he wanted to be king to make others suffer under his complete control I want to be king to make the world a better place to live although I don't expect to make my kingdom perfect nothing is perfect but I want to be able to be a just king with far punishments for crimes and equally far rewords when required. I just hope I can meet my goals... well you have too start somewhere first I need to learn magic and once I have control over it try harder magic like making portals and nightmare papyruses which I will now call shadows because why not? of course once I have magic down and a few subordinates I will recruit the bad sanses I will need allies for my goal after all but I must start small so magic practice it is!
I focused on moving my tentacles? appendages? yeah appendages sounds less weird I'll go with that I focused on moving my appendages but they weren't moving like I would have liked they were too stiff not fit for battle or anything really I needed a new method of training maybe I could practice moving my extra appendages by picking up the dead bodies? I mean it would be doing too birds with one stone I could start cleaning up my mess and I could practice ok well I better get started!

ugh ok not one of my brightest ideas while I did get practice in I underestimated my sense of smell I feel like it somehow got like ten times stronger which meant ten times more suffering ugh maybe I can leave the rest of the cleaning to the shadows when I make them? I mean I could get started in my magic practice a lot faster yeah that what I'll do first step in becoming a evil king is pushing the dirty work on others welp now that, that is done I'm going to practice magic I can control my new appendages well enough I just practice by using them everyday for everyday things there no problem!~
ok I know that nightmares magic revolved around negativity so that must mean so does mine I should start my trying to sense negativity hmmmm nope not getting anything how the heck do you sense negativity!? I'm so confused. well whatever I'll get it eventually just have to keep trying! maybe if I focus on the actual feeling like sadness or anger I'd be able to feel others? hm I'll try that focus foooccuuusssssss huh!? wait is that negativity oh my gosh it feels like a switch just flipped I think I can feel all the negativity in the multiverse somehow? but it also feels like I was starving and I just got the best meal of my life somehow? but I didn't feel like I was starving before huh odd well whatever now that I can feel negativity I should try something else maybe I can make a staff like dream but out of negativity? I'll try that!
wow it worked! somehow? but the staff looks cyan and has a crescent moon on it instead of a star like dreams thats cool! maybe it can turn into a bow too I'll try and see. well its not a bow but a shields cool too I don't really need a bow anyways I'm not good at aiming a shield should be more useful to me and anyways I have my tendrils to attack with so a shield is far more useful. hm next would be the shadow papyrus but I think I should find the castle in dreamtale first it would make my claim to be a king far more real I suppose and I could get the shadows to clean the castle so I don't have to normal I wouldn't do that or I would at least help but the shadow papyruses don't have emotions or at least they shouldn't so its fine! no need for guilt. now my next goal find the castle which shouldn't be too hard considering its right there in the middle of the village very unguarded considering there are no walls what kind of defense is this! enemies could come marching in to the front gate without you ever knowing! guess I will have to fix that to ugh whatever. onward to the castle!

I got the story idea from a book on ao3 but the first few chapters are mainly based off of it not exactly a copy but very similar at least for the beginning few chapters but later on in the story it will become more unique sorry if this bothers anyone.
