chapter 4

I reached my hand out and made a portal offering him to go with me and he did so happily. 

"thank you!" cross said happy. he hugged me and ran through the portal with a smile wanting to get out of the white void most likely.

"heh." I just smiled and walked in the portal right after him. once through I saw him waiting for me right outside the portal exited and eager. without a word he hugged me and cried happy tiers I hugged him back and closed the portal knowing this hug was going to last a while considering all the gratefulness and relief I felt from him but also anger probably for ink but that was none of my business. I realized he would need a room in the castle and I would need to introduce him to the shadow papyruses.Oh! we could decorate his new room with paint or something and and get we could go to the store together and buy him stuff to use in his room oh I'm so exited!! it would be like our first friend activity together! ... wow ok I did not know how much I missed regular interaction with people till this second but whatever. I should probably ask first though he might not want to go to the store just yet.

"um I was wondering we still need to decorate your room and get you a bed and stuff so do...you want to do it with me?" I asked shyly getting his attention from looking all around us.

"yeah sure!" he smiled reassuringly to me seeming to sense my social anxiety chara was smiling at me too.

my eye turned into a star faster than one could blink. "REALLY! oh! we could paint the walls oh and go to the store and do so many things friends do yes! I'm so exited!" I said too exited.

oops... I meant to say that in my head...he doesn't seem to mind actually he seems to be getting more and more exited every minute like me so I guess it doesn't matter. I grabbed his hand made a portal to the nearest au fast and went to a furniture store right near a paint store in an au on the surface. I checked to see crosses reaction and he seemed surprised but happy and following behind me without much difficulty. I smiled to reassure him because he kept looking at all the people here and I didn't know what to do to help. 

time skip to after getting furniture and paint and putting it in our inventories.

I was greatly embarrassed for my out burst of energy I was to exited to finally have an ally in this place that I over reacted I hope he still wants to be my friend after witnessing that. I looked over my shoulder still blushing but he just smiled and gave me a thumbs up causing me to blush even more from embarrassment. I made a portal to the castle and walked through with cross close behind I decided that before we decorated his room I needed to introduce him to the shadows and to tell them not to attack him since he is an ally.

I found a shadow papyrus and walked up to him cross close behind me confused.

"bring the rest of the shadow papyruses to the meeting room I have something I would like to discuss with everyone." I said and the shadow papyrus nodded and moved almost immediately understanding my request. cross seemed shocked for a few seconds for some reason he looked at me like I had grown two heads.

"why didn't you tell me you were royalty!? holy shit dude it was like your personality did a one eighty when you talked to that dude! you were like totally scary for a second." he commented surprised. 

"really? I thought I was talking normally? hm thats weird anyways lets go to the meeting room I need to introduce you as my new body guard to the shadow papyruses." I told him then started walking cross following close behind still confused in my complete change in personality I had that I didn't seem to notice. 

I opened the door and hundreds of shadow papyruses looked right at us I acted like didn't mind just walking up to the front because I had this feeling I couldn't afford to look week in front of them but cross was scared out of his mind I could sense his fear rolling off of him in waves so I stopped sent a tentacle to his hand and continued walking sort of like I was holding his hand to follow me confusing the shadow papyruses. he started to calm down and walked normally still confused about the shadow papyruses.

"did that guy from earlier multiply or something!? there are hundreds of him!" cross said extremely confused.

"I created them so I suppose he was a multiplication of the first shadow papyrus." I said calmly.

"what!?" he whisper shouted. 

"shh were almost there I am going to introduce you act tough if you can or they won't respect you." I said.

he was about to ask more questions but we got to the front so I let go of his hand and started talking introducing cross to everyone here as my guard.
